Laura Hamilton is almost knocked over by a wave before her microphone cuts out in the chaotic This Morning segment

Laura Hamilton was almost knocked over by a wave as she hosted This Morning’s latest match from Tenerife on Wednesday.

During the chaotic live segment, the presenter, 41, strolled along the sand as she spoke to presenters Rochelle Humes and Craig Doyle in the studio.

As she explained what was up for grabs, a wave rushed towards her and she struggled to keep her balance.

Once, the professional Laura kept talking to the camera, hoping that the awkward incident had been missed.

However, Craig joked: ‘We saw you get hit by a wave then, don’t try to cook’

Laura replied, “It was close” before her microphone suddenly cut out and she continued chatting without anyone hearing what she had to say.

Back in London, Rochelle and Craig had to apologize for the awkward blunder before cutting the segment.

On Tuesday, the show’s sound engineer was forced to rescue Laura when she was swept away by a river live on air.

Laura, who came from a water park in Tenerife, threw herself into the water on a rubber ring and was quickly carried away.

Back in the studio, presenter Craig Doyle presents: ‘The sound guy is just watching that very expensive microphone going down the river.’

Returning to Laura, she was heard shouting, “I’m stuck,” as the soundman used the long microphone handle to fish her out of the water.

Rochelle Humes giggled: ‘OMG he actually left to save the mic, I knew it’

“He’s using the long microphone wand to drag her back in,” Craig exclaimed.

Elsewhere, on the This Morning programme, fans threatened to ‘take out’ during a shouting segment which saw Dave Fishwick shouting in a field.

Viewers called the scenes “unhinged” and claimed the exercise, which was meant to help people “de-stress”, “triggered anxiety” when they hit the mute button.

Joining presenters Rochelle and Craig live from the Lake District, the Bank Of Dave founder tried his hand at ‘scream therapy’.

Dave was encouraged to shout out into the beautiful surroundings with a group of others to release frustrations and suppressed emotions.

One person wrote: ‘I honestly just muted this. Who thought this was a good segment for 10:44?”

‘Sorry, what was that? Thanks to Dave my anxiety levels have increased,” another added.

Someone else wrote: ’40 minutes and I’m already done.’

β€œThis unhinged shouty lunatic is enough to give anyone nightmares,” one viewer wrote.
