The Jurassic Park actress, 55, looked radiant as she posed at the dinner table with Ellery, 21, and Jaya, 17, in a cute photo captioned, “Our Thanksgiving.”

Members of the star’s extended family were also featured in the snap, including her actress mother Diane Ladd, 86, and actor father Bruce Dern, 86.
Laura shares Ellery and Jaya with ex-husband Ben Harper to whom she was married from 2005-2013.
Earlier this year, Laura revealed that she’s keeping Jaya waiting until she’s older to get into show business.

Jaya has already decided that she wants to follow in her mother’s footsteps as an actor, but she has to focus on her studies for now.
On The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Laura, 55, explained that her own experiences of becoming an actress at age 11 influenced her decision to keep Jaya waiting.
It comes after Laura made a surprise appearance in Taylor Swift’s latest music video for her song Bejeweled, off her new album Midnights.
The video was packed with celebrity appearances, with the Oscar winner joining the likes of the Haim sisters, makeup artist Pat McGrath and record producer Jack Antonoff.

Dressed in lavish period costume, Laura takes on the role of Taylor’s character’s Cinderella-style evil stepmother.
The glamorous video follows the Getaway Car hitmaker, 32, as she goes from rags to riches, even slipping into a sparkly corset for a burlesque routine in a tall martini glass with Dita Von Teese.
She confessed to Ellen that “there’s something really touching” about her daughter’s desire to perform while the career runs in the family.
Not only is Laura herself an Oscar-winning actress, but her parents Bruce Dern and Diane Ladd are also Oscar-nominated actors.
Laura shares Jaya with her ex-husband Ben Harper, with whom she also has a 20-year-old son named Ellery who wants to become a musician like his father.
On Ellen’s show, Laura said of her daughter, “I’m so glad she’s waiting and wants to go to school, but really knows in her heart that she wants to act.”
Laura, who has starred in several films with her own mother, said, “And if she does, we may have the privilege of working together one day.”
However, Laura also revealed that she was the one who insisted that Jaya wait a bit longer before venturing into the entertainment industry.
The actress acknowledged that Jaya “often says, ‘You didn’t wait!” and yes, I’m actually making her wait.’
When Ellen asked if Laura wished Bruce and Diane had kept her waiting, Laura considered the question and replied, “In a way.”
However, she added that she “forced” her parents to let her act, “and I lied and I pushed and I lied about age.”
