Laura Byrne shows off her incredible figure in skimpy bikini as she enjoys day at the beach with husband Matty Johnson and their young children

Laura Byrne made the most of the summer on Boxing Day.

The radio host and her husband, Matty Johnson, took their two young daughters for a dip on a busy beach in Sydney.

The 38-year-old arrived with her family in a black bikini top and pink pants.

Laura then stripped off for a swim, revealing her incredible figure in the skimpy swimwear.

The podcaster showed off her toned stomach and ripped muscles as she walked through the shallow water.

She kept a blue cap and sunglasses on as she waded into the water and appeared to go makeup-free.

Meanwhile, Matty kept it casual in a striped shirt, green shorts and a blue cap.

It comes after Matty looked a little worse for wear this Christmas.

The Bachelor star, 37, took to social media the night before Christmas with a tearful selfie.

Matty’s right eye was red and swollen and there was a five o’clock shadow on the recognizable post.

“The antibiotics are working…I think,” the father of two wrote as he posed with a half-hearted thumbs up.

Matty and his wife Laura Byrne have been busy renovating a ‘derelict’ seaside property they bought in August.

The reality TV lovebirds put their kit down for the holidays, but when Matty headed to the beach with his two daughters for a dip in the ocean and Laura got the party started at North Bondi RSL.

The podcaster let her hair down as she took the cafe stage to dance in summer white linen trousers and a bandeau top.

It comes after she divided the nation earlier this week with her highly controversial stance on what the best Christmas chocolate is.

Laura took to Instagram to crown the Ferrero Rocher, as she filmed a beautifully wrapped gift box.

Within the mixed collection of the brand’s greatest hits are the classic hazelnut version, the white chocolate and coconut Raffaello and the dark choc Rondnoir.

“The white Raffaello is the best,” the radio star emphasized in her video, adding that the hazelnut is “delicious” but the dark chocolate version is “a bit crappy.”

Laura then invited her followers to vote on which one is the best of the three, with the votes split.

The Ferrero Rocher gift box is an essential Christmas product and is usually available at popular supermarkets around Christmas.

Late Monday evening the vote was 54 percent preferring the classic milk hazelnut, 38 percent liked the white and only 9 percent chose the dark.

Matty and Laura are enjoying a well-deserved break after hitting a huge roadblock during the renovation of their $2.2 million beach house.

The reality TV couple opted for a ’70s style for the space, with mid-century stained wood cabinetry matching the light brown tiles of the floor.

But their extensive renovation has faced many problems since they started overhauling the house, from termites to wood rot and mold.

Laura posted a behind-the-scenes video showing how they stripped the run-down property down to its last detail, revealing the shocking discoveries they found.

“There was no way to really know what this Reno had in store for us, or how extensive the rebuild would need to be until we started ripping out walls and pulling up the carpet,” she said.

“We’ve encountered termites, white ants, wood rot, fungi and more than a few snakes along the way, but it’s finally taking shape and we’re slowly seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.”

Laura named the house the Chante-Mer (which means ‘Sing the Sea’ in French) and also explained how construction had to be halted for a week so that exterminators could clear the place of pests.

“We had to replace all the walls and internal structures in the kitchen,” she continued.

Despite the challenges, Laura remained positive and shared how they plan to transform the neglected beach house into a luxury three-bedroom, two-bathroom home.

Perched on a cliff top in Ulladulla on the far south coast of NSW, 226km from Sydney, the ancient two-storey homestead offers fantastic water views.

The house last changed hands in 1984 for just $62,500, and Laura and Matty spent $2.19 million on its purchase in August.

The location has special meaning for the happy couple, who tied the knot in 2022 at Cupitts Estate Winery, close to their new holiday home.

The house sits on 746 sqm overlooking Racecourse Beach and was previously owned by United Nations Simultaneous Conference Translator Valerie Barnes, who died in 2021 aged 94.
