Laura Anderson reveals ex Gary Lucy hasn’t decided yet if he’ll attend the birth of their child 

She is expecting her first child with ex-boyfriend Gary Lucy.

And Laura Anderson has revealed that despite her ex-partner being “welcome” to the birth, he still has “two thoughts” about attending.

The Love Island star, 34, has had a turbulent relationship with the ex-Hollyoaks actor, 41, following their split, but has said she is determined to keep things civil for the sake of their child.

Laura, who is 27 weeks pregnant, shared it OK!: ‘He’s in two minds right now [about attending birth] so I also asked my mother, because you can have two birth partners.’

“Everybody has a lot of emotions going around, so it’s hard. Being able to be civilized from now until birth and beyond is the goal.’

The former couple announced they were expecting in February and split shortly after.

After their breakup, Gary claimed that the reason the pair had gone their separate ways was due to the fact that he would not be moving to her native Scotland as he has four children with his ex-wife Natasha Gray – something Laura denied.

And earlier this month, she appeared to reference their ongoing drama with a brand new post, which referenced how women should be treated.

The quote read, “A woman becomes a reflection of how you treat her. If you don’t like the way she behaves, see how you treat her.’

Her chat with the publication comes after Laura excitedly shared pictures of her baby girl from her 4D ultrasound. The reality star also shared a close-up photo of her bundle of joy with her 1.5 million Instagram followers.

She wrote, “Swipe for a sleepy 4D bub. Thanks to @bumptobabyscotland for my amazing scan and heart rate.

‘Gayle and the team have created such a personal and special experience every time, I can’t thank you enough. Ps she didn’t #strip my nose.

And recently she was said to be “shocked and upset” after her ex-boyfriend Gary – who already shares four children with ex-breed Natasha Gray – revealed the gender of their baby after sharing an ultrasound photo.

However, it seems Gary didn’t check with Laura if she was okay with him announcing the baby’s gender to their legions of social media followers.

A source told MailOnline: Gary announced the gender news without checking Laura’s approval.

“She is extremely shocked and upset by this and hoped to do something special for it later this year.”

Laura previously told Goss.ie that she would share her baby’s gender “in due course.”

Gary shared a photo of a recent scan on his Instagram story and an image that read, “Daddy’s girl.”

Alongside the photos, he wrote, “For anyone who asked. Let’s hope she inherits her mother’s looks. I can’t wait to meet you, baby bear.”

When a curious fan questioned her about her relationship, Laura quickly shut down any suggestion that they get back together.

The fan asked her, “Is there any chance you and Gary could get back together?”.

But Laura replied simply: ‘No’ before saying she ‘hopes that once the baby is here’ she and the Hollyoaks actor can successfully co-parent.
