Latrell Mitchell lets fly with FOUR F-bombs on live radio after South Sydney were smashed by Brisbane: ‘I don’t care if I’m swearing, boys’
- The Rabbitoh full-back was left frustrated after losing to the Broncos
- Latrell Mitchell swore several times on live radio
- Told Ben Dobbin he “didn’t care” about using foul language
Rabbitohs fullback Latrell Mitchell could have some explaining to do at NRL headquarters after swearing several times on live radio following his team’s defeat to the Broncos on Thursday night.
Mitchell, 26, endured a mixed night at Suncorp Stadium as his team lost their second straight match to open the 2024 season.
Speaking to Triple M’s Ben Dobbin, the native star lamented his team’s failure to capitalize on their chances as they were outclassed 28-18.
“Look, honestly, fuck, it was shit,” he started.
‘In the first part it was just a difficult match, f**k, we showed what we stand for.
‘To be honest, they are big boys, they are competitors. It makes you wonder why they came second last year, so f**k, we can build on that.
“I don’t care if I swear, guys, honestly.”

Mitchell then explained that he was happy to score his 100th NRL try during the match and added another F-bomb.
Dobbin maintained his composure, before Fox League commentator Dan Ginnane strongly ‘thanked’ Mitchell for his time on air.
Jason Demetriou was not a happy full-time coach and labeled his team’s performance as a ‘horror show’.
Mitchell scored the 100th try of his career, but it turned out to be in vain as Brisbane won 28-18
“I thought our defensive effort was excellent, but we’re just shooting ourselves in the foot,” he said.
‘Whether we can’t run the scrum properly or tackle mistakes first, kick our own player, punish for blocking, it was like a horror show of little things that kept putting pressure on ourselves.
‘We only create schoolboy neighborhoods. We have to clean them up. If we do that we will have a very, very good football side.”
