A 15-year-old girl has been brutally raped, murdered and dumped in a 15-metre deep well in India’s latest shocking sex attack.
The tenth grade student was reported missing by her grandfather after he was allegedly kidnapped by three people on September 23.
The girl’s body was tragically found at the bottom of a well in the Ramgarh Shekhawati area of Sikar town, Rajasthan, less than 24 hours later.
The Sikar police have now arrested two adults and a child, who are believed to be the prime suspect in the alleged gang rape and murder of a minor.
A police official confirmed that a 15-year-old has been arrested, while his two accomplices, Sameer and Ghulam, both 19, have also been detained.

They are questioned by police as detectives collect critical evidence from the crime scene.
Heartbreaking footage shows the moment officials discovered the tragic girl’s body and lifted her to the ground with a rope.
The girl was first reported missing by her grandfather at the Ramgarh Sethan police station on September 24, where he claimed that his granddaughter had been kidnapped the night before.
Police then conducted an extensive search to find the missing girl and her lifeless body was discovered in a well on Sunday afternoon.
Police then shifted the body to the mortuary of Ramgarh Sethan government hospital.
As per the wishes of the family, the last rites were performed at Jasrasar village, Sardarseher.
The girl was from Churu district and lived with her grandparents in Lavanda, where she studied.
“Due to concerns of rape and murder, relevant sections of the law were added to the case and further investigation was initiated after the body of the deceased minor was identified,” an official told the media.
Police confirmed that the CCTV footage had revealed the identities of those responsible for the horrific crimes.
“The CCTV footage installed along the route to the victim’s house has been reviewed and we see the suspects approaching and leaving the victim’s home,” a police official told local media.
The girl’s body was tragically found at the bottom of a well in the Ramgarh Shekhawati area of Sikar town, Rajasthan.
‘The identification has been confirmed via camera images of the suspects involved. One of the suspects also has an injury to his hand,” the officer continued.
Family members staged a major protest on Sunday to demand swift action against the suspects.
They also called for the attackers to face severe punishment. The protesters insisted that the victim’s family should also be compensated.
Earlier this month, a 14-year-old girl was gang-raped before being burned alive in an oven in India.
Officers have charged 11 men over the shocking sex attack and murder in Rajasthan after the teenager’s bones were found burning in the oven.
The gruesome murder has caused anger and outrage, not only among the relatives, but across the country.
