Over the past few weeks, we’ve seen a ton of leaks surrounding the Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 and Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 Pro, and they don’t seem to be stopping anytime soon. The latest leak points to some good news regarding the pricing of these earbuds.
Tipster @Kuma_Sleepy (through SamMobile) has managed to obtain a sales sheet from South Korea, which shows pictures of the Galaxy Buds 3 and Galaxy Buds 3 Pro, along with their prices in South Korean won (KRW).
Apparently, the Galaxy Buds 3 will cost KRW 203,700, while the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro will cost KRW 296,700. If we convert the currencies directly, that works out to roughly $150 / £115 / AU$220 and $215 / £170 / AU$320 respectively.
While Samsung won’t be using direct currency conversion to determine international pricing, the KRW figures do align with the starting prices for the Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 and Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro 2, so here’s hoping the next-generation of wireless earbuds doesn’t see a price hike.
Available soon
Those previous earbuds launched in 2021 for the standard model and in 2022 for the Pro model, so we’ve had to wait a while for Samsung to update this product line. Well, it looks like the wait is almost over, as Samsung has set up an Unpacked event for Wednesday, July 10.
The Galaxy Buds 3 and Galaxy Buds 3 Pro are expected to make an appearance, joining the Galaxy Z Fold 6, Galaxy Z Flip 6, Galaxy Watch 7, Galaxy Watch Ultra and Galaxy Ring. It’s set to be a busy show.
The leaked images (which match previous leaks) reveal that Samsung is going for more of an AirPods-like look this time around, with what appear to be thin LED light strips running along the stems of the earbuds.
Another rumor suggests that these earbuds could come with a host of Galaxy AI features, though it’s unclear what exactly that means. Samsung has already rolled out AI-powered live translation to some of its older earbuds.
