James Taylor Bumped for Biden
James Taylor was removed from the opening night of the Democratic National Convention in Chicago.
The meeting took place amid delays and organizers trying to prevent Joe Biden’s speech from being further delayed.
However, the president did not appear on stage until around 10:30 p.m. local time.
As speaker after speaker received loud applause, we ended up skipping parts of our program so we could get to President Biden as quickly as possible so he could speak directly to the American people.
Taylor had previously been spotted at a rehearsal.

Joe Biden arrived in Santa Barbara, California, at approximately 2:30 a.m. Pacific Time on Tuesday morning for a family vacation after a long day in Chicago on Monday.
That came after he delivered the keynote address on the first day of the Democratic National Convention, speaking past midnight to viewers on the East Coast.
The President and First Lady Jill Biden stepped out with their granddaughter Natalie Biden.
Other family members who stepped off Air Force One in California early Tuesday morning included Hunter, who was carrying baby Beau, and his wife Melissa Cohen, Biden’s daughter Ashley and her husband Howard, and grandchildren Finnegan, Maisy, and Naomi and Peter.
The Bidens reside at the Kiani Preserve, a 20,000-acre ranch with its own winery, owned by their friend Joe Kiani.
Hunter Biden’s latest attempt to dismiss tax case fails
President Joe Biden’s son Hunter’s latest attempt to have his federal tax case dismissed has failed.
Hunter is due to appear in federal court in Los Angeles in early September.
If Biden is found guilty in the tax evasion case, he faces up to 17 years in prison. He has pleaded not guilty.
Hunter was spotted hugging his father Joe on Monday after his speech at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago.
The president has said he will not pardon Hunter, despite his federal conviction for gun possession and possible tax evasion.

In his speech to the DNC on Monday night, Joe Biden addressed the issue of anti-Israel protesters outside. He said:
Those protesters on the streets, they have a point. Many innocent people are being killed on both sides.
We are working day and night to end the suffering of the Palestinian people and to finally, finally, finally achieve a ceasefire and end this war.
