Las Vegas Raiders put up an incredible franchise-record 42 points in the FIRST HALF against the Chargers… as analyst Richard Sherman claims LA should FIRE head coach Brandon Staley mid-game!

The Raiders put together a historic first half against the Chargers on Thursday as they entered halftime with a 42-0 lead.

Las Vegas scored on their first possession of the game and continued to pile on their opponents as the Chargers fumbled three times in the opening 20 minutes to repeatedly create a short field for their hosts.

After Zamir White's opener, Tre Tucker (twice), Michael Mayer, Brandon Bolden and Jakobi Meyers all found the end zone.

The number of points is a record for the Raiders, and also the most ever allowed by the Chargers in a half.

And Prime Video analyst Richard Sherman thought Chargers coach Brandon Staley should be removed from his position during the break

'They have to make history. They should fire him at half-time,” he said.

The hapless Chargers, who will be without quarterback Justin Herbert (and Keenan Allen on Thursday) for the remainder of the season, had lost four of five entering the game for an overall record of 5-8.

Aidan O'Connell threw four touchdowns for the hosts, while the Chargers had just 89 yards of total offensive margin.
