Las Vegas family who claimed two 10ft green aliens landed in their backyard break cover as they double down on their story and produce drawings of what they ‘saw’

A Las Vegas family of four is standing by their story that aliens crash-landed in their backyard and have even drawn sketches of what they say they saw to back up their bizarre claims.

In an interview with Inside editionthe Kenmore family — who went viral earlier this year after calling 911 to report the apparent invasion — stuck to their story.

“I think I saw something that didn’t come from Earth,” said youngest son Joshua.

They also added new details to their far-fetched story, claiming to have seen a black Chevrolet Suburban with “government plates on it” shortly after looking into their alien friends’ eyes.

The family remained anonymous for months for fear of being ridiculed. In their 911 call, they claimed that two giant aliens had landed in a UFO in their backyard.

Eldest son Angel also talked about the unexpected attention the family had received.

He said that since then, total strangers had come to the house to see where the aliens landed, and even climbed over the fence.

“They didn’t want that publicity,” said attorney Sam Heidari. “All they did was report it to the police.”

He was hired by the family to prosecute offenders when necessary.

When asked for his views on the Kenmores’ claims, the attorney said, “I believe they believe it was real.”

Surrounded by film cameras, the family sat at their kitchen island, where they were asked to draw what they remembered from memory.

Bobby pointed out the glowing, antenna-like ears and mouth full of gnashing teeth in his drawing. He said the creature appeared to have no nose.

Angel colored his alien with gray pencil, noting that he tried to keep the color accurate to what he had seen.

He said the alien had a ball of light next to it and was standing with one leg bent.

Angel previously gave an account in a video posted YouTube on June 8. It received just under a million views in three months.

“This isn’t a conspiracy theory,” Angel started to say. “I’m not making this story up for power or fame.”

On the evening of May 1, the then 16-year-old explained, he and his brother heard something fall from the sky before noticing a flash of light.

They felt the impact of something hitting the ground, followed by a loud bang. Angel said they were then hit by a shock wave, likening the sensation to “an out-of-body experience.”

He said the entire backyard was blurry when he tried to look at the fallen object, and he heard “thousands of footsteps” all around him before the blur disappeared.

A police officer’s bodycam captured a greenish light shining through the sky that same evening. While the officer was talking to a neighbor, the light from the sky was seen spiraling behind a house.

Angel’s story was further corroborated by footage from a neighbor’s Ring camera, which captured a whooshing sound and a huge bang.

The teen said he could make out a tall, very thin creature that was between 8 and 10 feet tall. In a panic, he called Bobby to the backyard, who told him to go inside.

Later, Angel and Joshua went to pick up Angel’s toolbox when Joshua told him, “Look behind the forklift.”

Angel said he froze as soon as he saw the creature, describing it as “the same experience as sleep paralysis.”

About the alien’s appearance, the boy said: ‘He has strange looking feet and a big face and big eyes and you could see a big mouth. I could hear his loud, deep breathing and see his stomach moving.”

He fled to the house and called the police.

“There’s like, an eight-foot person… and he’s got big eyes and he’s looking at us,” he told the operator during the viral 911 call. “I swear to God, it’s not a joke.”

When officers arrived, he was surprised to learn that one of them had noticed the light when it crashed an hour earlier.

“I’m not going to BS you,” an officer told the stunned family, the moment captured on bodycam video. “One of my partners said they also saw something falling from the sky.”

Police followed the family into the backyard. Angel said an officer pointed to a perfect circle etched into the ground.

He included an image in the YouTube video showing a thin line in the dirt, although it is unclear what the line means.

He showed Inside Edition reporters where the aliens had landed and said complete strangers had entered their property to take a look for themselves.

While body cameras were running, officers stopped cars to gather more information.

“This may sound like a really stupid question, but have you seen anything fall from the sky?” an officer asked a passing driver.

He added that police typically wouldn’t take such a call seriously, but were intrigued because one of their own had seen it.

Mick West, a writer who specializes in debunking false conspiracy theories, was brought in by Inside Edition to refute the family’s claims.

He said an alternate explanation could be a raccoon sitting on top of the fence, hence the big eyes, or even a coyote.

The alien fever continues to build in the United States.
