Larsa Pippen was considering adoption and surrogacy with her ex-boyfriend Marcus Jordan just weeks before they broke up for the second time — and she even discussed her options with good friend Kim Kardashian.
News of their second split in two months broke on Wednesday, with reports that the Real Housewives of Miami star, 49, has finally split from Marcus, 33, after their romance became ‘irreconcilable’.
But insiders have told DailyMail.com that the inability to make a decision on children and marriage spelled the end of their short-lived relationship, which had reportedly become so ‘old and boring’ that it had become ‘irreparable’.
“Larsa and Marcus are gone, but this rift may last a little longer,” they said.

A source revealed that the Real Housewives star had discussed possible birth plans with girlfriend Kim Kardashian (pictured)
‘They didn’t know when they wanted to get married, they didn’t know if they wanted children and things became stale, boring and routine.
‘Marcus is more of a homebody and Larsa wants to be the toast of the town, so it was hard for them to live a joint life with individual life goals.
“They just couldn’t meet in the middle and it all came to a head. There wasn’t a big, crazy argument, just a whole bunch of stuff that came up that they tried to solve, but from here on out it’s unsolvable.
‘Conversations about a surrogate mother and adoption were discussed just like Larsa had those conversations with Kim. But it never got to the point where it would happen.”
According to another source, Larsa’s ex-husband Scottie hopes their children — sons Scotty Jr., 22, Preston, 21, and Justin, 18, and daughter Sophia, 14 — emerge unscathed from their mother’s on-off romance with the basketball player .
“Scottie fears his children will be bullied or made fun of because of the relationship and even the end of the relationship,” they said.
“People can be cruel, children can be cruel, so if their children, especially their daughter Sophia, can come out unscathed, then that’s a positive from the breakup.
“That was one of the main things that always bothered him, the fact that his children had to deal with their mother’s decision to date the son of Scottie’s enemy.
Larsa first started talking to Marcus in 2019, and they were on “great ground as friends” before dating in 2022. They previously broke up and quickly reconciled in February.

“But now that the relationship seems to be over for good, everyone can move on.”
Larsa was previously married to Scottie Pippen from 1997 until 2021, when they finalized their divorce.
Scottie was teammates with Marcus’ father, NBA legend Michael Jordan, in the 1990s.
The source added that Larsa and Scottie “will in no way get back together romantically” in the wake of her split.
DailyMail.com has reached out to representatives for Marcus, Larsa and Scottie for comment.
Last year, Larsa revealed that she wasn’t done having children yet.
Speaking on Separation Anxiety – her joint podcast with Marcus – she said: ‘(I’m) open to having another child. It’s one of those things where I think time will tell, you know?
“I feel like I’m happy because I have four kids, and I feel like you don’t have any kids, so actually it would be a question for you. Because I am really satisfied with my four children.’
Marcus added: “There have been conversations (having children).
“When we go and meet people, or when I introduce you to some of my friends, or when you introduce me to some of your friends, I feel like it comes up.
“But I feel like we’ve never had a one-on-one private conversation about having kids.”

Another insider told DailyMail.com that Larsa has just finished House of Villains and is focusing on her kids and her single life
Following their divorce, Larsa is reportedly keen to focus on her children and promoting House of Villains, in which she stars alongside fellow Housewife Teresa Guidice and The Bachelor’s ‘Queen’ Victoria Larson.
Larsa and Marcus were first linked in 2022 after seeing a loved-up display while walking on Miami Beach.
But they split last month, with an insider telling DailyMail.com that their differing opinions on starting a family and inability to align their visions of the future had fueled the split.
“Their age difference was a major factor in the split, plus Marcus was playing kids while she wanted to be more of a celebrity,” they said.
“They both had different ideas about what their family would look like and that caused a lot of stress.”
They later reconciled and were spotted looking in love on Valentine’s Day, with sources claiming they were trying to work out whether their 18-month romance was ‘worth fighting for’.
Marcus’ father Michael had previously publicly expressed his disapproval of his son’s relationship.
When asked last summer if he approved, he initially laughed and then said, “No.”
