Larsa Pippen said she had the right to reveal co-star Guerdy Abraira’s cancer diagnosis to her Real Housewives of Miami castmates, despite vowing to keep quiet about it.
The reality star, 49, got to work on it Instagram on Tuesday to comment on a preview of the upcoming RHOM episode in which Larsa spills the beans about Guerdy’s breast cancer, with a fan caption of the clip stating that there was “no justification” for Larsa’s actions.
‘I called and texted Guerdy after she called me a fake in the press. She never responded,” Larsa wrote. “We argued back and forth, which wasn’t shown, but then she told me she had been diagnosed with breast cancer. I was shocked and I wanted to rally the girls to support her.”
The fan who shared the video — which featured Larsa telling Guerdy’s news to castmates Lisa Hochstein, Marysol Patton, Alexia Nepola and Kiki Barth — said it was “exhausting” for Larsa not to let Guerdy break the news to their friends about her own.
In her Instagram comment, Larsa responded, “I have been nothing but a good friend to (Guerdy).”

During the teaser for RHOM season 6 In the episode, Larsa met Guerdy for a lunch date in hopes of starting over after Geurdy called her “fake.” However, the conversation quickly turned to the revelation of the cancer diagnosis.
“I didn’t tell anyone, except now you, my family of course, and now you’re the fourth person in the group to know,” Guerdy said, acknowledging that she had already told the co-stars. Adriana DeMoura, Nicole Martijn And Julia Lemigova.
After Guerdy asked Larsa to “keep it confidential,” Larsa seemed to agree.
However, six hours later, according to the clip, Larsa spilled the tea on RHOM castmates Lisa Hochstein, Marysol Patton, Alexia Nepola and Kiki Barth.
“I went to meet Guerdy and I wanted to understand what I ever did to her, so she came out and said I was fake, and the next thing I know she says, ‘I have breast cancer,'” Larsa explained.
“It’s okay, she’s doing well,” Larsa continued. “It’s Phase 1 — it’s just early — but she said that and I was literally like, I don’t know what to say.”
Guerdy expressed her disapproval of her co-star’s behavior by sharing an Instagram story from a fan who criticized Larsa for the way she “handled Guerdy by telling her about her situation.”
The former model has been dealing with the disease since announcing her treatment in May, but announced at BravoCon 2023 that she was cancer-free.
