Larry Emdur’s huge gesture to Seven staff after his Gold Logie win is revealed in leaked email – as he shares the one question his colleagues won’t stop asking him

Larry Emdur made a grand gesture to his colleagues at The Morning Show after his overwhelming win at the Gold Logie.

The 59-year-old TV presenter took home the biggest prize at Sunday’s awards ceremony, as well as the Bert Newton Award for most popular presenter. This was a milestone.

He’s been celebrating hard over the past few days and his hilarious email to Seven staff celebrating his win has now been made public.

In the message, obtained by news.com.auLarry announced that he would be throwing a big pizza party at the network’s Sydney office on Thursday to celebrate.

He confirmed that he had hired Happy As Larry Pizza Truck to provide lunch for up to 150 employees. It was a very kind gesture, with all expenses paid.

Larry also hilariously revealed the question all of his colleagues were asking him: did his butt heal after he got it tattooed on live TV following his win?

“Hi everyone, Larry here, I’m doing great. Thanks for asking in the elevator, in the lobby, in the parking lot, in the studio, in the coffee shop,” he wrote in the email.

‘I know this Logie belongs to all of you, it has been a huge team effort and I know that most of you, voluntarily or involuntarily, are involved in the Logies campaign.

“I can only think of one way to thank you all, all at once. PIZZA!!!! Please leave your lunch at home, I’ve got a pizza truck.”

He concluded the email by joking that even his colleagues who voted for Andy Lee were welcome to come get a slice of pizza, as he always did.

After winning the Gold Logie, Larry had viewers laughing with his hilarious, foul-mouthed victory speech, in which he admitted he was shocked by his win.

The morning show host drew thunderous applause from the audience, as he mocked the number of times his programs had been cancelled over the years and his wide range of dubious presenting jobs.

He also referred to the bizarre promise he made the week before to get the initials of all the nominees tattooed on his backside, a promise he miraculously kept.

‘I I just remembered saying that if I won, I would get all the nominees’ initials tattooed on my butt live tomorrow morning,” he began, drawing laughter from the audience.

Sorry, Sylvie [his wife]I know we had a fancy hotel planned, but it looks like I’ll be doing squats all night!’

‘Whether it’s sitting on the couch of The Morning Show and interviewing Lindy Klim, who invented a new product – a face mask for vulvas; or a 300-pound truck driver who won The Price Is Right and dry humps me; or being the most trashed man on television.’
