Lara Worthington was the model mom in every way on Tuesday as she carried her two-year-old son River on her back on a stroll through New York.

The Australian supermodel, 35, beamed as she gave her youngest child a piggyback ride.

Dressed for the cold weather, the mother-of-three looked chic in an earthy green shirt tucked into blue straight-leg jeans and black Adidas sneakers.

She completed the look with a long leather trench coat and hid her eyes behind some of her favorite dark shades.

The blonde beauty let her natural beauty shine through by wearing nothing but a dab of dewy moisturizer slathered over her flawless complexion.

Lara and her Hollywood star husband Sam Worthington have made it clear that they want to protect their sons from the trappings of fame.

The couple, who have been married for eight years and share sons Rocket, seven, Racer, six, and River, said they wanted their children to live normal lives.

“Now that I have kids, it’s more about protecting my kids [attention],” the Avatar star, 46, told Stellar magazine in November.

“Right now, my kids don’t care what their dad does. They don’t look at my work in a spectacular way.

“They just want me to take them to soccer practice and hang out and watch Paw Patrol. You do your best to have this balance, and that’s all you can do.”

Sam went on to say that he doesn’t always get parenting right, but he tries his best.
