Republican National Committee co-chair Lara Trump revealed that her father-in-law’s re-election netted $1.5 million on the first day of the hush-money criminal case.

Donald Trump appeared in Manhattan Criminal Court on Monday for the start of jury selection in the case alleging he falsified business records related to payments to porn star Stormy Daniels to keep quiet about their affair.

“The people of America yesterday came out in support of Donald Trump in the amount of $1.5 million raised for his campaign,” Lara told Fox & Friends Tuesday morning.

She added, “The average donation was $28, so even here, in the hopeless Biden economy, people are coming out and supporting this president financially.”

Trump arrived Tuesday for a second day of trial at the courthouse in downtown Manhattan.

Just before the former president left Trump Tower for the first day of the trial on Monday, his campaign sent out an email seeking to raise money for the criminal charges.

“THE BIDEN TRIALS ARE WORKING!” reads the email. “I am going to court this morning for my WRONG TRIAL, and only YOUR SUPPORT will get me through this dark time.”

Trump’s message to his supporters continued: “I WILL NEVER SURRENDER IF YOU GUYS!”

The email takes supporters to a survey page, where MAGA fanatics are then asked to donate $20.24, $47 or another amount to the former president’s 2024 campaign.

It appears the prompt worked, given the massive fundraising, according to Lara Trump.

At an RNC rally in Houston, Texas in March, Eric Trump’s wife Lara was elected the new co-chair of the Republican Party, with a leadership overhaul that solidified Donald Trump’s grip on the party before November.

Trump arrived at the court both Monday and Tuesday to join protesters in support of the former president and others who opposed him and praised the criminal cases against him.
