Dead by daylight is packed with original characters, but is also known for crossing over into other properties. This started exclusively with horror icons like Freddy Krueger from the Nightmare on Elm Street series and Pyramid Head Silent Hillbut it has been expanded to include less expected features such as Dungeons and Dragonsthe real actor Nicolas Cage, and now Tomb Raider superstar Lara Croft.
In the tradition of Dead by daylightKillers and Survivors alike are drawn into a dark realm ruled by the extraplanar god known as the Entity. It seems that Lara’s various adventures and expeditions were enough to attract the attention of the Entity and see her claimed by the supernatural Mist. Lara Croft will arrive alone, without a map or associated Killer, similar to her colleague Alan Wake.
Like other Survivors, Lara has three advantages that affect her gameplay.
Finesse
This benefit is activated as long as you are healthy. Your fast safes are 20% faster. This perk continues to cool for 40/35/30 seconds after performing a quick jump.
Hardened
After you unlock a chest and cleanse or bless a totem, this benefit activates. Every time you would scream, reveal the killer’s aura 3/4/5 seconds instead of.
Specialist
Every time you open or search a chest you receive 1 token, up to 3/3/3. If you make a great skill check on a generator, consume all the tokens. Then, for each token consumed, reduce the maximum generator progress required by 2/3/4.
Over the years Dead by daylight has moved away from exclusively using horror characters and has also introduced more action or thriller oriented characters. Lara Croft is a popular choice for such crossovers; she appears in many other games including Call of Duty, Fortnite, Fall guys, BrawlhallaAnd Magic: the meeting.
