Lando’s solo Star Wars show is still happening

Hello, what have we got here? A current update on the standalone TV series Lando Calrissian that Lucasfilm hasn’t said anything about since 2020? At Star Wars Celebration on Friday, Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy confirmed that Disney Plus’ lando is still in progress.

According to a report by IGNsaid Kennedy that the Lando spin-off is “still going on”, indicating so Solo: A Star Wars Story actor Donald Glover is not only a board member, but ‘very excited’.

It’s unclear if Glover would reprise his role as young Lando Calrissian. Earlier this week, when asked about continuing his role of Solo, Glover told GQ that he “wasn’t interested in anything that would be a waste of time or just a paycheck,” but teasingly, “Yeah, I mean, we’re talking about it. That’s as much as I can say without Kathleen Kennedy rushing me.
