Lando Norris taken to hospital after McLaren driver crashes out of Las Vegas Grand Prix
Lando Norris has been taken to a hospital for ‘further precautionary examination’ after a serious crash during the Las Vegas Grand Prix.
The McLaren driver was in P13 when he appeared to lose control at Turn 14 of the race on lap four, sending him crashing into the barrier.
The British driver had recovered well from his starting position of P16 after a poor performance during qualifying.
But – having previously criticized the condition of the surface in Vegas – this is now his first retirement from a race since the 2022 Brazilian GP.
