Lando Norris ‘SPLITS from model girlfriend’ Margarida Corceiro with the British F1 superstar now ‘free and single’ as he chases first world championship title

  • British Formula 1 driver reportedly split with model girlfriend
  • Norris has been in a relationship with Portuguese model Margarida Corceiro for the past year
  • The McLaren star is now reportedly ‘single’ as he targets F1 title success

Lando Norris has reportedly split from his girlfriend Margarida Corceiro.

The Portuguese model has previously been photographed with the McLaren F1 star at various events over the past 12 months, but the pair are no longer in a relationship, reports The sun.

Corceiro was first spotted with the British driver in May last year. Norris’ performances on the Formula 1 grid improved during the period they were in a relationship.

Before his victory in the Dutch Grand Prix, which saw Norris close the gap to world champion Max Verstappen, the 24-year-old confirmed his current relationship status.

When asked if he would like to have a dog in the future, Norris coolly replied onstage, in the midst of a packed room, “If I want that, I’d need a girlfriend, and I don’t have one.”

According to a source who told The Sun that their short-term relationship has now ‘cooled off’, Norris is now ‘single and single’.

“Lando and Margarida had a good time together and hung out a lot. But it didn’t work out, so they cooled off. He’s single and single,” the source claimed.

Neither couple involved have posted an official update about their time together on social media, with Norris still focused on his maiden F1 world title.

Margarida, who was once spotted with Norris in the back of his Fiat, was previously in a relationship with Chelsea star Joao Felix, who only recently made a permanent return to the Blues from Atletico Madrid.

Their relationship ended when the Portuguese footballer’s first loan spell at Chelsea ended last year.

That the relationship between the model and Felix was over was confirmed when she was chauffeured around the luxurious surroundings of Monaco by Norris.

Meanwhile, Norris had previously denied being in a serious relationship, admitting earlier in the season that he had “a lot of girlfriends.”

The recent split between Margarida and Norris marks the end of a second relationship with a Portuguese model, after the British superstar split from Luisinha Oliveira two years ago.

They dated for about the same amount of time as Norris and Margarida, but ended their relationship. The man who played the leading role at McLaren at the time posted a heartfelt message on social media ending his relationship.

“After much consideration, Luisa and I have mutually decided to end our romantic relationship but remain good friends,” Norris wrote at the time of his split from Oliveira.
