Lando Norris could be heard venting his frustration on Max Verstappen during Free Practice 3 of the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix on Saturday.

While completing a flying lap, the McLaren star found himself held up by Verstappen, who had not been informed of his rival’s location.

The 23-year-old managed to successfully slow down and avoid a collision between the two, but his frustration was evident as he continued to slalom around the blind corners of the circuit.

The stewards briefly investigated the incident afterwards, but ultimately ruled that no further action will be taken.

Verstappen expressed his annoyance over team radio that he had not been informed of Norris’s position and would later be seen alongside Norris at the Jeddah Corniche circuit to apologize for the incident.

The Dutchman continued his impressive form during practice sessions in the Saudi capital in FP3 and finished first, putting him half a second ahead of his Red Bull teammate Sergio Perez.

Aston Martin’s Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll finished third and fourth respectively with Lewis Hamilton ahead of Charles Leclerc in sixth.

Meanwhile, Norris finished seventh, 1.2sec behind Verstappen.
