Lana Del Rey released her ninth studio album on Friday titled Did You Know There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd.?

The 37-year-old singer originally set the album’s release date for March 10, but in early January, she pushed the date back two weeks to release on March 24.

Hitmaker Summertime Sadness featured several other artists on her album, including long-time collaborator Jack Antonoff.

Other collaborations on the album included Father John Misty, Tommy Genesis, Jon Batiste, SYML, and RIOPY.

Antonoff, 38, has worked with artists like Lorde, Fun and, above all, Taylor Swift.

For Lana’s album, she sang the song Margaret, which the beauty recently revealed is about Jack’s fiancée and actress, Margaret Qualley.

In a recent cover with Magazine InterviewThe Californian singer shared that the song was the last one she wrote for the album, which was finished in its entirety in September 2022.

“I was like, ‘You know what? I want to write a song for him.’ He lands right in the middle of the album.

She continued: ‘It’s fun, this album felt totally effortless. When I did Norman F*****g Rockwell! it was about world building, whereas this was a direct vibration.’

The rest of the album consists of 16 tracks, three of which were previously released as singles.

Lana released her album’s title track as her first single on December 7, 2022, which has already amassed over 38 million streams on Spotify only.

Del Rey wrote the title track with Mike Hermosa and co-produced it with longtime collaborators Jack Antonoff, Drew Erickson and Zach Dawes.

The song was quintessential Del Rey with moody lyrics about wanting to be remembered and also referenced Harry Nilsson’s 1974 song Don’t Forget Me.

To prepare fans for the album’s release, he also shared the cover art on the same day he released the first single.

It showed Del Rey in a black and white image propping her head on one hand with ties in her hair.

On the left side, it listed the names of the featured artists, as well as the producers, which consisted of Antonoff, Erikson, and Dawes.

Another form of promotion she did was to share a post on her private Instagram account of a selfie of her and the unique billboard she had put up to promote her new album.

He had the sign put up in his ex’s hometown of Tulsa, Oklahoma, in December.

All the sultry singer wrote in her caption was: ‘It is. Staff.’
