Lana Del Rey fans fume that her Glastonbury set is still not available on BBC iPlayer

Lana Del Rey fans were outraged that her Glastonbury set was still unavailable on BBC iPlayer by Sunday afternoon.

The singer, 38, headlined the Other Stage on Saturday night, but the next day those eager to watch wondered why it wasn’t for catching up.

On the night, Lana unfortunately had her microphone completely cut off during the set as she entered curfew after taking the stage 30 minutes late.

She left the festival-goers awaiting her arrival, as she was due to take the stage at 10:30 pm, but did not get off until around 11:00 pm.

Despite the delayed start, many were frustrated on Sunday that they couldn’t watch on iPlayer, as one wrote: ‘Is the #lanadelrey set going to be on BBC #glastonbury #iPlayer? Still not gone live. Or is she on the naughty stairs?’.

Another said, “Why isn’t Lana Del Rey’s set on iPlayer? She was a headliner!’.

A third wrote, “Wondering that Lana Del Rey’s set is still the only one missing from the iPlayer. Wonder if they didn’t give them the rights.’

Someone else wrote: ‘Hi BBC, any idea why Lana Del Rey isn’t on iplayer? It’s the only thing I wanted to see… #glastonbury2023 @bbcglasto #Lana’.

A fifth said, “Where is Lana Del Rey’s headliner on the iPlayer? She’s also not mentioned in the live coverage after her set, after you turn off her mic. You made her dirty!’

Another wrote, “Is Lana going to catch up with Del Rey on iPlayer? Thank you.’

Another person said, “Lana Del Rey happen to be on the naughty step? 30 minutes late and then left the stage at midnight due to curfew. Now BBC iplayer seems to have airbrushed her out of the festival. Can YOU find her?’.

Lana kicked off her set with a bang, but was quick to explain why she was late. She oddly said it was because her hair took a long time and she even got a stylist on stage to finish off her look.

Lana had vowed to do her set as originally planned, but was unable to do so because she was abruptly interrupted midway through the performance when curfews came in at midnight.

Uncomfortable! Lana kicked off her set with a bang but was quick to explain why she was late, bizarrely saying it was because her hair was taking a long time and she even got a stylist on stage to complete her look

Glastonbury is not allowed to play music on major stages after midnight, and Lana’s set was due to end at 11:45pm, but was still going on more than 15 minutes later.

After being interrupted, Lana started addressing the crowd without a microphone and gestures, and her fans soon realized what she was asking as they all started singing her smash hit Video Games.

Arguably, the star had left her most popular song to last and got the crowd to sing the hit to her when she couldn’t sing anymore.

In an effort to make amends with her fans, Lana stepped off stage and greeted festival goers in the front row, signing Summertime Sadness with them and signing autographs.

Lana was flanked by security and her team as she greeted her emotional and overwhelmed fans before being escorted off stage after the very abrupt end.

Earlier on her show, Lana had discussed why she was 30 minutes late and promised to do her setlist as originally planned, even if the organizers “turned off the power.”

She told the audience, “I was so damn late I’m about to rush this set today, if they cut the power, they’ll cut the power.”

“I’m sorry, it’s taking so long to do my hair. Let’s run the set as it should be, let’s do it!’

After getting her hair done was the reason for her late arrival, Lana also got her stylist on stage to finish off her look while belting out her hits.

As she sat on a chair to perform, her hairdresser was seen undoing her updo and going to work combing out her locks so that they fell loosely over her shoulders.

Lana had originally appeared on stage with her glossy brunette locks all pinned back in a voluminous updo, held in place with a silver hairpiece.

But later she wore the lower half of her locks like a waterfall over her shoulders after her hairdresser came on stage with combs and hairbrushes prepared.

Lana had first appeared on stage in a black overcoat tied together with a thick belt, before her backing dancers ripped it off to reveal her dress underneath.

She looked effortlessly elegant in a long-sleeved white satin shirt, which she paired with a coordinated miniskirt and heeled shoes.

Her performance came at the same time as headliners Guns N Roses performed on the Pyramid stage, which also hosted a host of stars on Friday.
