Lana Del Rey channels Marilyn Monroe in Rio as she plays first live solo set in over THREE YEARS
Lana Del Rey changed her look to a blonde wig when she performed at the Mita Festival in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on Saturday.
The 37-year-old singer — whose dad just released his debut album — exuded sex appeal in a classic black button-up top and skirt as she channeled another blonde bombshell that once took Hollywood by storm: Marilyn Monroe.
The Saturday night performance was her first live solo set in over three years – since her concert in Abu Dhabi on November 30, 2019.
She made her grand return to the stage last month when she surprised audiences at Charleston’s High Water Fest to perform with longtime collaborator Jack Antonoff and his band The Bleachers.
However, her performance at the Mita Festival was the first set Lana performed solo since the COVID-19 lockdowns swept the world and her last tour stopped.
