Lamar Jackson has ruled himself out for Sunday’s Wildcard game against AFC North rival Cincinnati, revealing he hasn’t fully recovered from a knee injury.

The Ravens quarterback was already a doubt after straining his ACL against the Broncos on Dec. 4. Jackson had not practiced since.

Many members of the media were left in the dark as to Jackson’s condition, apparently also head coach Jim Harbaugh, who had no update for reporters Wednesday.

Although the No. 8 clarified his position and eventual inability to go on Sunday night on Twitter, on Thursday night.

‘Thank you all for your support and concerns regarding my injuries. I want to give everyone an update as I am in the recovery process.

“I have suffered a grade 2 PCL sprain bordering on a strain 3. There is still swelling around my knee and my knee remains unstable,” Jackson said on Twitter.

“I’m still in good spirits as I continue my treatments on the road to recovery,” he added.

Jackson revealed that his knee is still unstable as he continues to recover from the PCL strain.

“I wish I could be with my guys more than anything, but I can’t give 100% of myself to my guys and fans. I’m still hopeful that we still have a chance.”

Baltimore hopes that Tyler Huntley, who replaced Jackson against the Steelers (twice), Browns and Falcons, will be available after missing last Sunday’s loss to Cincinnati and was a limited participant in Thursday’s practice.

Huntley threw in front of the media after failing to do so the day before, a welcome boost as they head on the road to face the Bengals for the second time in as many weeks.

If the backup is unable to play, third quarterback Anthony Brown will once again face the Cincinnati defense.

Although Harbaugh sounded optimistic when he discussed Huntley’s chances on Wednesday.

“He’s doing much better,” Harbaugh told local reporters. “He was in practice today and took a lot of snaps. I’d say it’s on time, hopefully, and we’ll see where it goes.
