Lala Kent will speak out about the family court system in an upcoming interview with ABC.
The Vanderpump Rules star, 32, teased the sit-down on her Instagram account on Thursday with behind-the-scenes footage from the set.
Lala is currently embroiled in a custody battle with her ex Randall Emmett over their two-year-old daughter Ocean, and hasn’t shied away from her own take on the system.
Shedding light on a subject that is close to my heart. Honored to share my experience and what needs to be changed in the family court system. I can’t wait for you all to see it!’ she posted on her Instagram Stories.
In a post, she shared photos of the entire interview production as she continued to tease “Coming soon to ABC” with a camera emoji.

She tagged attorney Tina Swithin, author of Divorcing a Narcissist, in her posts.
Last month, Lala took part in a protest against family court abuses at the Stanley Mosk Courthouse in downtown Los Angeles.
She, together with the organization One Mom’s Battle, spoke out against reunification camps, a controversial method in which “children are taken away from their preferred parent or safe parent despite their allegations of abuse or maltreatment against the other parent,” according to the statement. In particular, Lala wanted to shine a light on singer Brody Dalle, a mother in the middle of a custody case.
“The abuses of the family court system have never been more glaring for me as a single mother raising my daughter Ocean,” Lala told the outlet.
“I can only hope to shed light on these inequalities in the system, and together with Tina Swithin and One Mom’s Battle, we hope to continue to shed more light on this topic.”
Lala (née Lauryn) is still fighting for sole custody of Ocean from the filmmaker, whom she acrimoniously divorced in 2021 after dating for three years amid allegations of cheating.
The Utah-born blonde and Randall reportedly only communicate through a third-party app to arrange the pick-up and drop-off of their precious princess.

Meanwhile, Emmett and actress Ambyr Childers are co-parents with two daughters — London, 13; and Rylee, 9 – from their six-year marriage, which ended in 2017.
On Jan. 26, Savage Salvation’s director and Ambyr reached a confidential settlement agreement over their differences, and she requested the release of her restraining order against the film producer – according to the Los Angeles Times.
Childers had previously claimed that Randall tried to strangle her in 2015 and 2016 because she refused to sign a prenuptial agreement.
Ray Donovan’s alumnus had also alleged that the FBI contacted her on Dec. 6 to inquire about Emmett’s “suspected child exploitation and pedophilia activities.”

And last June, the producer of Detective Knight – who has denied all allegations – was hit with a host of disturbing allegations, from abusing former assistants to offering roles in exchange for sex.
After news of the alleged FBI investigation went public, fans wondered why the filmmaker had “sole custody” of his youngest child.
Kent – who previously accused her ex of infidelity and abuse – replied to an Instagram user, “If you didn’t deal with the family court system, you wouldn’t understand.”
Emmett denied that the FBI investigated him and dismissed the claims in January as “cancellation culture.”
