The Lakers advanced emphatically to the Western Conference Semifinals on Friday night with a 125-85 loss to the Grizzlies.

On a night when Jack Nicholson and Dyan Cannon sat on the right, Friday’s Lakers game had a distinctly “Showtime” feel, and not just because LA went to victory with ease like it was in the 1980s. Much like the team’s golden era, Game 6 was a star-studded affair that also featured Larry David, Adele, Jason Bateman, Will Arnett, Kyrie Irving and Dr. Dre.

D’Angelo Russell led the team with 31 points, LeBron James added 22 points, six assists and five boards, and Anthony Davis had 16 points from the center spot.

The Lakers raced out to a 31-20 lead at the end of the first quarter and never wavered, beating the visitors in every quarter in front of a boisterous home crowd.

As LA is about to play a game with the winner of the Warriors-Kings series — which concludes with a Game 7 in Sacramento on Sunday — Memphis heads home much earlier than planned.

The Grizzlies had the fifth-best record in the league at 51–31, finishing just two games behind the West’s No. 1 nuggets.

But injuries to starting center Steven Adams and forward Brandon Clarke crippled their chances in the postseason, where their inexperience showed against a more experienced Lakers squad.

Memphis star Ja Morant finished with only 10 points in Game 6, while Desmond Bane had 15.

Morant was battling a hand injury sustained in Game 1 of the series.

He missed Game 2 before returning for the next four games.

Celebrities Andy Garcia, David Geffen, Flea, Jason Bateman and Will Arnett also appeared at the game.

But apart from the Hollywood stars present, free agent Kyrie Irving was also spotted in court.

Irving was reportedly interested in reuniting with his ex-Cavs teammate James in LA last summer via trade, but the Nets clung to the disgruntled star before finally handing him to the Mavs on the February deadline.

The All-Star scorer missed the postseason with Dallas as they finished 11th in the West and failed to qualify for the play-in tournament.

The Lakers will travel to the winner of the Kings-Warriors series for Game 1 of the second round on Tuesday.
