Anthony Davis has agreed to a three-year, up to $186 million contract extension, keeping him with the Los Angeles Lakers through 2028 as the 30-year-old garners the highest annual salary increase in NBA history.
The deal, worth more than $270 million in total, was revealed Friday by ESPN’s NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski on Twitter.
Davis, who can play both as a power forward and center, now receives $ 62 million per season.
