Patrick Beverley, one of the most outspoken stars in the NBA, has told his children that Santa Claus is not the person buying them presents, but himself, just weeks before winter break.

“I love Christmas, I love giving gifts, but I’m the father, the mother, the aunt, the cousins, the nieces, the nephews,” the LA Lakers point guard told Barstool Sports’ Rone in his latest episode. podcast with US sports & popular culture blog.

Patrick Beverley, one of the most outspoken stars in the NBA, has admitted to his two sons that he’s the only one who puts his presents under the Christmas tree, not Santa Claus.

The 34-year-old added that he is “all in on the cookies” and goes over to the Christmas tree to gobble them up the night before the holidays, though he does a different thing than Santa Claus.

“I don’t like milk,” revealed the former Rockets, Clippers and Timberwolves player. ‘You guys can drop a Coke or something because that’s me eating that shit. I just want you guys to know.

Beverley’s confession to her two children did not go down well with her son.

“It looked like I killed him, or something,” said the two-time NBA second-team defensive back, who also has a daughter. It was destroyed.
