Los Angeles Lakers star Christian Wood has been granted a temporary restraining order against his ex-girlfriend after claiming she caused him emotional and mental distress and caused damage to his property.
The 28-year-old attacker took his ex-girlfriend – Instagram model Yasmine Lopez – to court after claiming she broke into his house and vandalized one of his cars.
He claims that on February 23 this year, Lopez and her friends climbed over a fence at his California home and then pried open the hood and doors of his Mercedes-Benz.
Wood then says Lopez got into another of his vehicles, opened the gate to his home and began walking through his yard.
Neighbors saw what was happening and called the police, leading to Lopez’s arrest.

Wood has an eight-month-old son – Kobe Sean – with Lopez. He says police told him to pick up his son from Lopez’s friend’s house to avoid any involvement with child protective services.
But he says she did not hand over the child and that she “began making accusations against me and misrepresenting facts to the media to curry favor.”
This is not the first incident involving Wood and Lopez.
Wood says Lopez broke into his home in August 2023, destroyed items such as statues, glass and vases and tried to hit him. Wood says the police were called and they de-escalated the situation.
In January 2023, while Wood was playing for the Dallas Mavericks, he says Lopez entered his house and spray-painted his Lamborghini.
He believes she is using his very public work schedule to stalk him, track his location and destroy his property. Wood also says she has been physical with him several times and alienated him from their child.
Wood believes Lopez is stalking him by using his published work schedule to track his location and vandalize his property.
The terms of the restraining order require Lopez to remain 300 feet away from Wood at all times — with the exception of “brief and peaceful contact” that allows for conversations about their child.

He also believes Lopez is using his scheme to stalk him and break into his home
This restraining order also specifically tells Lopez not to “abuse” Wood, including harassing, assaulting, hitting, threatening or stalking him.
Under the terms of the restraining order, Lopez is also not allowed to possess a firearm while that order is in effect.
The restraining order expires on March 20.
