Laguna Beach fame Stephen Colletti announced his engagement to Alex Weaver on Instagram on Wednesday.

In a joint post, the 37-year-old former MTV personality and his journalist fiancée shared two photos from Rome, Italy.

The caption simply read, “Yes! Forever.’

Weaver showed off her huge, oval-shaped diamond in one image, which was set on a gold band.

Another photo showed the future Mr. and Mrs. Colletti in a passionate lip-lock as they sat in front of a picturesque view of the city.

According to Weaver’s recent Instagram Stories posts, the two just landed abroad and went on vacation.

In another upload, a geotagged shot in Villa Medici, she wrote: “good night from day 1.”

Colletti became Instagram official in August 2022 with Weaver, who is about ten years his junior.

The Newport Beach resident captioned the photo at the time: “Magic hours are a little more magical this year.”

Stephen and the North Carolina native’s seaside selfie was taken on July 15, 2022, when they went sailing together in San Diego.

Alex — a sister of Alpha Delta Pi sorority at Clemson University — wrote in the comments: “Happiest girl.”

Stephen famously dated Laguna Beach costar Kristin Cavallari while the two were attending high school in Southern California.
