Lady Louise steals the show at the Coronation!
The Duchess of Edinburgh looked elegant today as she joined her husband, the Duke of Edinburgh and their children Lady Louise and James, Viscount Severn for the King’s coronation.
Sophie, 58, donned a regal white Suzannah couture gown embroidered to the floor with a Jane Taylor headpiece and Royal Victorian Order mantle as she arrived in London for the historic first coronation of a British monarch in 70 years at Westminster Abbey, where Great Britain has her new King.
Meanwhile, her daughter Lady Louise, 19, who is a university student at St Andrew’s, opted for an elegant white and blue floral dress and chic headpiece.
Prince Edward, 59, donned a garter belted morning dress over a black dress suit which he paired with a white shirt.
James, Earl of Wessex, 15, who rarely appears in public, looked smart in a black suit paired with a white shirt and burgundy tie.

In the past two years, Lady Louise has taken on an increasingly public role as her parents, Prince Edward and Sophie, have entered the royal food chain following Prince Andrew’s disgrace and the departure of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
She took center stage at the Platinum Jubilee celebrations, accompanied her parents to the Commonwealth Games and made her successful TV debut in a documentary about her beloved grandfather, the Duke of Edinburgh.
Indeed, she has become such a familiar face that she is recognized by customers at the garden center where she has been working for £6.63 an hour since passing her A level in June last year.
Sophie and Prince Edward wanted to give their daughter and son a ‘normal’ childhood with school friends and extracurricular activities.
And so Lady Louise was largely kept out of the limelight throughout her childhood, having her first major royal outing at the age of nine when she was maid of honor at the wedding of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge in 2011.
Meanwhile, she took on a larger role in the events that mourned the late Queen last fall, appearing emotional but poised.
James, who is only 15, is rarely seen at public events.

The day of the fate of Charles III has arrived today as the world prepares for the historic first coronation of a British monarch in 70 years at Westminster Abbey, where Britain will greet its new king.
Heir since he was three years old, the monarch is now ready to finally embrace his day of destiny with the woman he loves by his side. VIP guests lined up for a mile from the abbey from 6am to get one of the top 2,300 seats.
Charles will be crowned in a Christian ceremony that stretches back 1,000 years on a day dripping with glorious pageantry. It will also highlight Britain’s place on the world stage.
And on the streets of London today, even in a packed shopping centre, there is tremendous excitement among tens of thousands who camped out for days to watch the extraordinary event happen. More than 100 million people watch on TV around the world.
Nearly two million people – from all corners of the UK, the Commonwealth and the world – are pouring into central London despite rain being forecast. The trains to the capital were overcrowded this morning, with soldiers taking part in the ceremony pouring into the main stations.
The king’s guests arrived at the abbey from 7 a.m. – four hours before the ceremony. About 100 heads of state are in London, with representatives from 203 countries.
The longest-serving heir to the throne in British history will be crowned today at Westminster Abbey in a ceremony steeped in the majesty of his illustrious ancestors, but also embracing and highlighting the proud diversity of contemporary Britain.
She completed her ensemble with cream colored stilettos and a matching handbag, while her blonde locks were styled in loose curls
“There will be all the pomp and circumstance you can dream of, but as little of ‘them and us’ as possible,” a senior royal aide said last night.
Crowned alongside the king, 74, will be his wife of 18 years – and his love for much, much longer.
The once unthinkable has become a reality and from today the former Camilla Parker Bowles will be known as Queen Camilla as she has been anointed and has Queen Mary’s crown on her head.
Yesterday, the 75-year-old queen consort made only a brief public appearance as she attended a final rehearsal at the abbey with her husband in the morning. She chose not to attend any of the other public engagements at his side, preferring to “set her pace” and also make sure “the day was about her husband,” sources said.
“She loves him unconditionally and always wants him to shine,” said a friend.
Last night, the pair retreated to enjoy a private dinner at their London home, Clarence House.
“The calm before the storm – perhaps both figuratively and literally,” said a friend, with a nod to the gloomy weather forecast, something the new King and Queen celebrations have in common with the late Queen’s coronation in 1953.
