Lady Gaga reveals which DRUG she stopped using in recent years: ‘I’ve changed a lot’
Lady Gaga has quit smoking marijuana.
The 38-year-old singer shared the news during her new interview with Fashion magazine, of which she is on the cover.
She said that after breaking her hip about 10 years ago during her Born This Way Ball tour, she was left with fibromyalgia, a chronic condition that causes muscle pain.
But the Chromatica tour was a “revelation.” “Michael and I did that tour together,” she said of her fiancé Michael Polansky.
“I did it painlessly! I haven’t smoked weed in years. I’ve changed, like, a lot.” She added, “I feel like this new album, in a lot of ways, is about that time, but from a place of happiness instead of misery.
“And now Michael and I are really excited about organizing our lives — and our marriage — around our creative output as a couple,” she said, adding, “which is really different from doing what other people want you to do.”

She talked a lot about Polansky in Vogue.
Gaga said he helped her through a dark time in her life, when she was struggling with her mental health.
The 38-year-old Joker star first started dating the tech entrepreneur around New Year’s Eve 2019 and went Instagram official in early 2020. However, the couple has remained relatively private about their relationship.
Lady Gaga raved about her “kind” and “smart” partner, before praising him for “holding her hand” through tough times.
She said, “I’ve never met anyone like Michael. He’s so smart and so kind. And his life and my life are very different. He’s a very private man and he’s not with me for any reason other than we’re a good fit.”
“But I guess I just want my fans to know that I’m just, like, so happy. I’m healthy. I feel like the last time they heard from me – like this – was Chromatica, and that album was about an absolutely horrible time for me with my mental health. I was in a really dark place.

‘I struggled for years. But everything started to change. Because I had a real friend who saw how unhappy I was and why. And he wasn’t afraid to really hold my hand. And get to know me. On a very deep level.’
Although her album Chromatica came out during a difficult time for the chart-topper, she was doing much better physically, with the star revealing that her long-standing battle with the chronic condition fibromyalgia was in remission.
She noted that the album’s 2022 tour was the “first time” she had performed without pain, as far as she could remember. During the tour, her fiancé, who was impressed with her, saw “a fire in her,” prompting him to encourage her to make another pop album.
The couple’s engagement was announced to the world in July of this year, when Michael got down on one knee after a day of rock climbing in April.
The couple’s wedding plans are in full swing and their legal plans are being negotiated.
And while Lady Gaga — real name Stefani Germanotta — couldn’t say enough about her love for him, she did say it was her mother Cynthia who met him first and that she thought he was perfect for her daughter. She told the singer: “I think I just met your husband!”
Although Gaga was initially hesitant after telling her mother she was “not ready” to meet her husband, she later told the publication that she was excited at the prospect of running into him at Facebook founder Sean Parker’s 40th birthday party.
After she did meet Michael, the star told how they spoke for “three hours” and had a “great conversation.” After meeting, they had weeks of phone conversations before they finally went on their first date and “fell in love.”

The couple’s relationship blossomed after Covid hit and they spent more than a year at her Malibu home. Gaga described the break from her busy schedule and living with the businessman as “really special.”
Meanwhile, Michael wrote in Vogue that she found spending the lockdown together, eating pizza, going for walks and drinking coffee together, a “weird form of normalcy” that allowed their relationship to develop in a “real way.”
In July, the Bad Romance singer dedicated one of her final Las Vegas performances to Polansky, calling him “my mister.”
Polansky graduated from Harvard University in 2006 and heads the Parker Group of Napster founder Sean Parker.

The couple reportedly parted ways on good terms and are still friends.
In August 2023, they were spotted together for the first time in over a year.
The singer has always been open about her desire for a large family. In 2013, she told radio station Sirius XM that she wants “at least three children.”
She said, ‘I want a lot of kids. I think at least three. I really want a family. I really want a family, I really want to raise my kids.
“Having my own kids is like having three little monsters with me all the time. They probably won’t be fans, they probably hate my music – who knows.
“I want a family, I want a family life. I grew up with a very strong family and I can’t imagine not having a normal nuclear family.”
