Lady Gaga is sued for accessory to theft of dogs for not receiving the $500K reward she thought she would receive for returning them
Lady Gaga has been sued by the woman accused of stealing her two French bulldogs.
According TMZJennifer McBride said Gaga, 36, made it clear she would pay the person who returned her dogs $500,000, “no questions asked.”
The Poker Face singer announced the bounty in February 2021 after her dogs were taken away.
McBride reportedly wants the $500K and also wants the court to triple the damages to $1.5 million for posting the bogus bounty.
Koji and Gustav, the star’s puppies, were stolen from their dog walker, Ryan Fischer, at gunpoint in the Angels.

The report explains that several men pulled up next to Fischer, jumped out of the car and grabbed the puppies, shooting him in the process.
Fischer was walking the pop star’s three puppies, but the muggers only took two of them.
He was left shot on the sidewalk when neighbors found him and he ended up surviving his injuries.
Los Angeles County Assistant District Attorney Michele Hanisee said TMZ McBride knew the puppies had been stolen when he returned them.
His intention was to get the reward. She had also known the men involved in the shooting for years.
McBride originally returned the dogs to the American Horror Story actress at the LAPD’s Olympic Community Station two days after they were taken away.
She was later charged with receiving stolen property in connection with the left.
The woman was also charged with being an accessory to the crime after the fact.
Supposedly, McBride was dating the father of one of the men responsible for the crime.
The man who shot Fischer, James Howard Jackson, pleaded no contest to an attempted murder charge and received 21 years in prison.

The Just Dance singer originally shared an Instagram post where she expressed her heartbreak and information about the bounty.
She wrote: ‘My heart is sick and I pray that my family will be made whole again with an act of kindness. I will pay $500,000 for your safe return.
Gaga also said: ‘Or, if you bought them or found them unknowingly, the reward is the same.
‘I still love you Ryan Fischer, you risked your life to fight for our family. You are a hero forever.
