Lady Gaga finally responds to former classmate’s Facebook group that declared she would ‘never be famous’
Global superstar Lady Gaga has finally responded to her former classmate’s Facebook group, saying she would “never be famous.”
The 38-year-old music icon has a Grammy and Oscar win and countless hits to her name. But before she became famous, she studied at New York University’s Tisch School of Arts.
For some reason, her then classmates created a Facebook group called: ‘Stefani Germanotta, you will never be famous.’
Now, Gaga has finally responded to the group’s existence with an inspiring message, after a fan posted a screenshot of the group to his TikTok account.
“Some people I went to college with used to do this,” Gaga responded to the post on Wednesday. “This is why you can’t give up when people doubt you or put you down — you have to keep going.”

The private group, which Gaga’s fans have known for years, consists of just 12 members and features a photo of a younger Gaga with a black X directly above her head.
The future superstar has brown hair and wears a blue jacket and a tank top as she smiles for the camera.
Gaga attended NYU for only three semesters before dropping out to focus on her music career, according to Blog about village preservation. She was 19 when she left school.
“I liked NYU, but I thought I could teach myself more about art than school could,” she said. She in 2009 from dropping out.
“I really felt like New York was my teacher and I had to just grit my teeth and do it on my own. I wasn’t interested in frat parties and college stuff. I was really interested in the music scene and waitressing and cleaning toilets or whatever I did.”
The TikTok post Gaga responded to also included a list of her many accomplishments, including 13 Grammy wins and an Oscar for Best Original Song.
Her many achievements include 10 Billboard Music Awards, two Golden Globe wins, and 18 MTV VMAs.
She rose to fame rapidly after the release of her debut album The Fame in 2008.

She shared the news at the end of her Chromatica Ball concert film on HBO and Max, with a title card that read, “LG7. Gaga Returns.”
Gaga’s talents extend beyond music. She’s also proven herself as a true actress, earning an Oscar nomination for Best Actress for A Star Is Born, among numerous other roles.
She will star opposite Joaquin Phoenix in Joker: Folie à Deux, in which she plays Harley Quinn.
In addition to her entertainment activities, she also has a cosmetics line: Haus Labs.
As for her love, Gaga got engaged to her boyfriend Michael Polansky earlier this year.
