Los Angeles Rams offensive lineman Conor McDermott reportedly had his team-issued iPad stolen from his car this week, including the team’s playbook and footage to watch.
McDermott’s iPad was allegedly stolen from a residential area where his car was parked. Local police are now investigating the situation.
No arrests have been made in the case, per TMZ.
McDermott has been in the NFL since 2017, having previously played for every team in the AFC East except the Miami Dolphins before joining the Rams.
His tenure with the Jets, Patriots and Bills lasted from 2017-2023 before joining the Rams earlier this year.

Whoever stole McDermott’s iPad won’t be able to see the team’s future plans, as the Rams can easily wipe the device’s memory remotely.
There is no reason to believe that another NFL team attempted to steal the device to gain a competitive advantage.
The Rams have had a disappointing start to their 2024 season, sitting at 1-4 heading into their bye week.
Los Angeles has the second-worst record in the NFC, better only than the Carolina Panthers.
The Rams are also one of six NFL teams with just one win, joining the AFC’s Titans, Jaguars, Patriots and Browns.
McDermott’s fame skyrocketed after he caught a touchdown during a 2021 game for the Jets against the Jaguars, his only career reception.
McDermott was not signed by the Rams until August 6 and placed on injured reserve on August 28. He has not played a game yet this season.
