LA Dodgers fans were treated to a special moment on Friday night when they were allowed to gather on the field and watch on some big screens as the Lakers advanced to the Western Conference Finals.

Settling things in town against the Warriors, the Lakers defeated Golden State 122-101 at the Crypto.com Arena to reserve a spot in the next round of the playoffs.

And while Dodgers fans get to take to the field every Friday for a fireworks display, this time it was made even more fun as they watched the Lakers pull off a 4-2 series win.

A video of the scene at Dodger Stadium shows thousands of fans enjoying the Lakers’ victory, which was paired with a 4-2 victory for the Dodgers vs. the Padres.

Freddie Freeman batted in three runs—including a solo home run in the seventh inning—as the Dodgers won their third straight game.

Meanwhile, LeBron James led the Lakers with 30 points, nine rebounds and nine assists as LA set up a matchup with the Nuggets in the Conference Finals.

While James and Co. missing the playoffs completely last year and losing in the first round the year before, they have amazingly made it to the Conference Finals for the second time in four years after their 2020 championship in the bubble.

Their series vs. the Nuggets kicks off Tuesday, with the first two games to be played in Denver.

The Dodgers will wrap up a three-game series against the Padres on Sunday.
