Kyly Clarke has revealed how art helped her ‘find’ herself in comments posted weeks after her ex-husband Michael went public with his new romance.

The 43-year-old former WAG has been pursuing her passion for art in recent years and shares how her new career has helped her ‘heal’.

Kyly shared insight into the emotional process of creating her artwork after being selected to showcase her work at the upcoming The Other Art Fair in October.

“It was a really beautiful healing process,” Boldy Clarke said The Daily Telegraph‘I found myself during that process and started to understand and realize what I wanted in my life.’

Kyly, the ex-wife of cricketer Michael Clarke, has spoken about how art helps her to ‘shut out’ the outside world and focus fully on what she is doing.

“Then a hobby like this, which can become part of your career and your life, is really exciting. I think it shuts you off from the outside world for the moments that you create and that’s really special,” she added.

Kyly has previously considered a career in dancing and modelling and has also recently worked in interior design and property development.

But she discovered her love for art when she was struggling to find a piece of art for her bedroom, and now she is trying to make her childhood dream of becoming an artist come true.

Kyly admitted that having her work selected for The Other Art Fair, which takes place at the White Bay Cruise Terminal, was a huge recognition for her as a newcomer to the art world.

“I know I have so much to learn, so many pieces to create. I’ll take my time to perfect that and I’m okay with that,” she added.

Her latest post came as her ex-husband Michael was in the news after rediscovering the love of his life with glamorous property guru Arabella Sherborne.

Michael and Kyly split in 2019 after seven years of marriage and still share custody of their eight-year-old daughter Kelsey Lee.

Arabella shared a series of photos of herself on the Gold Coast, where she is believed to have flown to with Michael.

“That smile,” Michael raved in the comments, while Arabella only used winking emojis to hint at their budding romance.

After weeks of speculation, the couple finally went public with their romance at popular hotspot Mimi’s, where they arrived hand-in-hand.

Since then, the couple has shown their love for each other on social media. Arabella, for example, accompanied Michael on a trip to Sri Lanka, an important milestone in their relationship.

Late last month, Michael flew to Sri Lanka for his final cricket tour and Arabella later joined him in Colombo, turning the visit into a romantic getaway.

While they haven’t shared any photos on social media yet, Arabella did share a few low-key photos of Michael, tagging him in the post but leaving his face out.

During the trip, Michael hinted that things were getting serious between the two, posting a telling comment on her post in a rare public display of affection.

“We’re not leaving,” he enthused about their romantic holiday in the Sri Lankan capital.

The couple has only grown stronger, and an insider claims Things are already getting serious between the couple and wedding bells could be in sight soon.
