Kylie Minogue’s ex Paul Solomons breaks his silence with cryptic post after ‘splitting up’
Last week it was reported that they had separated after a five-year romance.
And now Kylie Minogue’s rumored ex, Paul Solomons, has broken his silence with a cryptic post on Instagram.
The former British GQ creative director is said to have split with the singer, 54, after they struggled to make a long-distance relationship work.
And on social media Thursday, Paul – who lives in London while Kylie now lives in her native Australia – shared a photo of a single red heart in love.
Running to the comment sections, followers were convinced this was a reference to the Locomotion singer asking ‘Kylie?’ and ‘Is it Kylie?’

Meanwhile another follower commented: ‘I hope you and [are] kylie is fine!! They seemed so good for each other.’
With a third written: ‘Go to Australia with her!’.
And a fourth begged: ‘Make it work.’
Kylie has returned to her home in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs after decades of living in the UK, while her Welsh boyfriend remains in the British capital.
And since they seemed to have problems with the 11-hour time difference, a source said Sun: ‘Kylie and Paul really tried to make things work, but in the end the time difference was terrible.’
They continued: ‘Paul couldn’t exactly go to Melbourne for a long weekend every time things got tense.
“Initially, Kylie wanted to keep the split quiet, as she really doesn’t want the narrative to be ‘poor, unlucky in love, Kylie’s heartbreak again.’
Concluding that the superstar won’t be “down” over heartbreak, the source added that Kylie will put 100% into her career.
While the duo are said to be still friends after their breakup.

Kylie and Paul met in February 2018 after being introduced by mutual friends, and months later they went public with their romance.
The couple was even thought to have gotten engaged in 2021, and it seems the family let the news slip.
Paul’s stepmother, Gloria, said at the time: “She’s so nice, I’m delighted they’re engaged.” She is very exciting.
But, sorry, I can’t tell you more because I’ve been told not to. I respect my son and I respect Kylie too much to say anything else.’
Career: Paul graduated from Nottingham Trent University with a degree in graphic design and is now a media mogul, he was the award-winning creative director of British GQ and style magazine GQ from 2001 to 2021 (pictured in 2020)
Kylie’s team later shot down the rumors, confirming that the couple were not engaged and that things hadn’t changed.
MailOnline has contacted Kylie’s representatives for comment.
Kylie spent 30 years living and working in the UK, before confirming in 2021 that she would be returning Down Under.
She said at the time: “I’ve spent a lot of time with my family this year in Australia and it felt really good.”
The couple was forced to spend nine months apart during the Covid-19 pandemic, but managed to keep the flame burning despite the long distance and reunited afterwards.

Prior to their relationship, many fans were supportive of her and on-screen lover Jason Donovan, as the pair played Scott and Charlene on the Australian soap opera Neighbors during the 1980s.
The couple dated for three years after meeting on the soap opera, but broke up after Kylie’s career began to skyrocket to worldwide fame.
Kylie was further romantically linked to Lenny Kravitz and INXS frontman Michael Hutchence for years to come.
Though she was most recently engaged to Joshua Sasse after they started dating in 2015, before splitting three years later amid cheating allegations.
