Kylie Minogue tries to go incognito under a large coat and hat while touching down in Sydney as pop star prepares to announce Grammy nominees
Kylie Minogue tried to go incognito as she landed at Sydney airport on Friday.
The Australian pop legend, 58, wore an oversized black overcoat over a baggy T-shirt paired with casual jeans and black sneakers.
She hid her face with a green baseball cap and designer sunglasses.
Looking half her age in makeup, the Melbourne-born star tied her blonde locks into a ponytail.
Despite trying to keep a low profile, Kylie was seen grinning as she walked towards a waiting vehicle and her signature superstar smile was instantly recognisable.
Kylie arrived in Australia ahead of the highly anticipated announcement of next year’s Grammy nominees.
The 67th annual Grammy Award nominations will be announced on Friday, November 8, and the pop star is just one of many stars who will make the announcement.
In September, Kylie confirmed her 2025 world tour dates and revealed she would be performing across Australia.

Tickets for her now 10-date Australian tour are in high demand, with the first Telstra pre-sale selling out within hours of release.
It marks Kylie’s first tour Down Under since 2019, and comes after her headlining stint at the Splendor In The Grass festival had to be canceled earlier this year.
In addition to her Australian dates, Kylie will also perform in Asia and the United Kingdom.
“I can’t wait to share beautiful and wild moments with fans around the world, celebrating the Tension era and more,” Kylie said in a statement.
“It’s been an exciting ride so far and now get ready for your close-up because I’ll be calling Lights, Camera, Action… and there will be lots of Padaming!”
Coinciding with her epic world tour, Kylie also confirmed that she is treating her fans to even more music as she prepares to release a new album, titled Tension II.
Tension II hopes to repeat the success of 2023’s Tension, which topped the entire top 20 of the UK charts, became her ninth No. 1 album and earned Kylie her second Grammy.

Meanwhile, Kylie has secured five nominations at the 2024 Aria Awards, which take place on November 20.
She has received awards in five different categories, including two of the top gongs: album of the year and best solo artist.
Her big hit album Tension is also nominated for best pop release, while the title single is also in the running for song of the year.
In the best solo artist category, Kylie is up against major Australian stars including The Kid LAROI, Tones and I, Troye Sivan and Dom Dolla.
