Kylie Minogue ‘releases first single from her forthcoming 15th studio album in weeks, while a major arena tour is planned for next year’
Kylie Minogue is reportedly set to make a comeback later this month when she unveils the lead single from her 15th studio album.
It is rumored that the 54-year-old singer will release the new song before her 55th birthday after teaming up with top producer Lost Boy, who has worked with the likes of Ellie Goulding, Becky Hill and Mimi Webb.
The album will follow later this year while a major arena tour is planned for 2024, her first in six years, according to The sun.
An insider told the publication, “Kylie has finally finished the album and is now itching to make her return to music.
“It’s kept under lock and key and hardly anyone at her label has even heard of it.
Hitmaker: Kylie Minogue, 54, reportedly set to make a comeback later this month as she unveils her 15th studio’s first single
The first single will be revealed later this month. It’s classic Kylie and will definitely appeal to her fans.”
MailOnline has reached out to a representative for Kylie for comment.
It comes after MailOnline exclusively revealed that Kylie was ready to pour her heart out on her next record after landing an emotional breakup song.
The pop superstar, who recently split from her boyfriend of five years, Paul Solomons, 47, has teamed up with producer Sky Adams, who she previously worked with on numerous songs, including her 2018 hits Dancing and Stop Me From Falling and 2020 supernova, including others.
She has recorded moving dance music and a single has been reserved that describes the importance of communication in a successful relationship.
A source told MailOnline: ‘Kylie is teaming up with producer Sky Adams to produce emotional dance music for her next record and will go into detail about the breakdown of some of her previous relationships with the record.
“The pair spent weeks writing new songs for her album and found a single that taps into people’s need to communicate clearly in a relationship.”
Elsewhere, Kylie recently split from her magazine boyfriend Paul Solomons after five years together.
Back with a bang: It is rumored that the singer will release the new song before her 55th birthday after collaborating with producer Lost Boy who has worked with Ellie Goulding and Becky Hill
The hitmaker reportedly parted ways with the former British GQ Creative Director after they struggled to make a long-distance relationship work.
Australian-born Kylie returned to her home in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs after decades of living in the UK, while her ex from Wales remains in the British capital.
And because they seemed to be struggling with the 11-hour time difference, a source told me The sun: “Kylie and Paul really tried to make it happen, but in the end the time difference was killer.”
They continued: ‘Paul couldn’t exactly squeeze in a long weekend to Melbourne when things got under pressure.
“However, Kylie initially wanted to keep the split quiet because she really doesn’t want the story to be ‘poor unlucky-in-love-Kylie’s heartbreak again’.”
The source concluded that the star won’t “grumble” about the heartbreak, adding that Kylie will put 100% into her career.
The duo would remain friends after their split.
End of the road: It comes after MailOnline revealed that Kylie would be pouring her heart out on her next record after she dropped an emotional break-up track following her split from Paul Solomons (pictured in October 2021)
Kylie and Paul met in February 2018 after being introduced by mutual friends and went public with their romance months later.
The pair were even thought to be engaged in 2021, with the family appearing to have let the news slip.
Paul’s stepmother Gloria said at the time, “She’s very nice, I’m really glad they got engaged. It’s very exciting.
“But I’m sorry, I can’t tell you more because I’ve been ordered not to. I respect my son and I respect Kylie too much to say more.”
