Kylie Minogue steps out in figure-hugging teal dress as she drops MAJOR tour hint

Kylie Minogue dropped a major hint about going on tour as she promoted her new album Tension with a series of radio appearances on Monday.

Speaking to Roman Kemp on the Capital FM Breakfast Show, the Padam Padam hitmaker, 55, was asked about the album and whether she was planning to go on tour.

At first she replied cryptically, “Hmm.” But when pressed, she admitted: ‘I’m very tempted. I think deeply about it.’

Kylie also revealed that she recorded part of the album while lying under a duvet fort in France, telling housekeeping: ‘Don’t move anything! Don’t make the bed! I almost sprained my ankle, so please leave everything as it is!’

The singer later visited Kiss Radio and was seen wearing a dark and light blue floor-length dress with a black bomber jacket and black pointy heels.

Kylie has been busy promoting her latest single Tension, from her album of the same name, which reached number 6 on the UK Big Top 40 earlier this month.

The song is Kylie’s 53rd Big Top 40 hit and with Tension she becomes the only female artist to score a No. 1 album in five consecutive decades.

Her sixteenth studio album, Tension, has already spawned Padam Padam, which went number one and went viral on TikTok, and Tension will follow in his footsteps.

Padam Padam is Kylie’s first hit of the 2020s and is not to be confused with Édith Piaf’s much-covered song of the same name.

It tells the story of a one night stand, where ‘padam padam’ is an onomatopoeia for a heartbeat.

The success of both the singles and the album left fans wondering whether a tour was planned sooner or later.

Kylie recently asked for privacy around her love life after splitting from her boyfriend of five years, GQ director Paul Solomons.

Speaking to Vogue Australia, the Spinning Around hitmaker said: ‘There’s a level of acceptance that it is, and I think it’s mainly driven by, we all like a bit of gossip.

“But it would be great to move away from the ‘she’s lucky in love, she’s unlucky in love’ because it’s just not that simple.”

Kylie will likely discuss this and more when she returns to the small screen on ITV’s An Audience With Kylie, which airs later this year.
