Kylie Minogue reveals she feels confident and ‘liberated’ at age 56 as she teases what fans can expect from her upcoming Aussie tour

Kylie Minogue opens up about her newfound sense of confidence and liberation at 56.

The Australian pop star appeared on Sunday night’s episode of The Project and spoke about her excitement for the upcoming shows and the inspiration behind them, hinting at a nostalgic trip through her illustrious career.

Kylie reflected on her current state of mind, saying, ā€œI feel like it’s just something that comes with age or when things go well.

‘I live in my body and in myself. It’s very liberating and I enjoy it.’

The Can’t Get You Out of My Head hitmaker’s excitement for her tour was palpable as she delved into her preparations, revealing she’s been delving deep into her musical archives.

This led to a memorable performance at Liverpool’s Cream Nightclub in 1994, where she sang a twelve-minute version of Confide in Me.

“I came across something the other day… I must have recorded a 12-minute version of Confide in Me somewhere and I was like, ‘Did someone say this is too much for her to wear?’ But no, she was just there!” Kylie said, laughing.

Kylie reminisced about the hypnotic and trance-like qualities of the music from that era and revealed that she plans to bring some of that energy back to her Australian fans.

As always, Kylie’s charm and humor were on full display during the interview.

The pop star also shared her latest binge-watching recommendation: the American comedy series Hacks, which she binge-watched during her flight to Singapore.
