Kylie Minogue proves she hasn’t aged a day as she celebrates 20 years since iconic song’s release in nostalgic post amid ‘tell-all memoir plans’

Kylie Minogue proved she hasn’t aged a day when she celebrated 20 years since the release of one of her biggest hits on Friday.

The 56-year-old Australian pop star shared nostalgic photos on Instagram to celebrate the 20th anniversary of her song Chocolate.

She posted glamorous photos of herself from the iconic music video for the song, including one of her lounging on a leather couch.

Kylie made sure all eyes were on her as she wore a red dress and a black sequined hairpiece in her red-colored locks completed her look.

The photos showed that she had barely aged a day, because in the old photos from 2004 she looked exactly the same.

“Been slowly melting like chocolate for 20 years,” she captioned the post as she marked the milestone.

Her fans were quick to respond in the comments, posting how shocked they were that the song was 20 years old. They were very complimentary of the song.

’20 years?! I still see this as a ‘recent’ Kylie song! Fantastic song,” one person wrote.

A second said: ‘One of my absolute favorites of yours’, while a third said: ‘TWENTY years?!’

“This needs to be on the setlist soon, this song is too good,” wrote a fourth.

‘One of my favorites. Put your shows back on,” another urged the singer.

Her nostalgic post comes after it was revealed Kylie will chronicle her life and impressive career as a megastar in an explosive tell-all memoir.

The actress and singer will end her 40-year career in music, film and TV in a new book, according to The sun.

Kylie is said to feel that this is the right time to ‘relive some memories’ now that she is at the height of her fame following her huge career revival with Padam Padam.

The star, who won the Lifetime Achievement Award at the BRITs this year, is to work with a ghostwriter on her memoir, which should also give fans an insight into her love life.

A source told the publication: ‘Kylie is at the height of her career and now feels like the perfect time to write about her life and relive some memories.

‘She tells some new anecdotes and stories and takes some snapshots from her archive.

Kylie has had an incredible year and her career is back on track after achieving huge success with her hit Padam Padam from her sixteenth studio album Tension.

Earlier this year she won her second Grammy for Padam Padam and in May she completed her Las Vegas residency at Voltaire nightclub, where she performed 20 times.

Kylie described her success in the United States with her residency, titled More Than Just a Residency, as “a big win for her longevity.”

The residency faced overwhelming demand for tickets, with the first run of ten shows selling out within hours.

The second set of tickets proved just as popular, selling out within 30 minutes of sales going live.

Kylie previously said of the show: ‘The spirit of Voltaire is one of pure, authentic joy.

‘It’s one that I resonate with as a pop artist. My new album Tension is all about the space where the intimate and universal meet and Voltaire represents exactly that.

“The creative team has designed an environment where people can get up, dance at their table and enjoy the night.”
