Kylie Minogue has admitted she feels ‘liberated’ to be single at 55 and acknowledges there are a number of past relationships she ‘could have done without’.
The pop star has been singing about love her entire career, but says that she is no longer sure what she knows about it.
When asked what her philosophy on love is, Kylie shared The mirror: ‘Well, I’m single and enjoying this freedom and liberty. I think we can make different choices right now than at other times. I don’t think you have to be afraid. I certainly did that.
“There are some romances I could maybe have done without, but it’s all part of what makes us human and our understanding of everything.”
She added, “I’m trying to think of something great to say, but hey, you fall in love. What can you do? And you live and you learn. I don’t know what I know anymore.’

A source said: ‘Michael absolutely loves Kylie and doesn’t want to lose her. It is the first ‘residency for life’ where you come and go based on your schedule that is on the table in Vegas.
‘Typically, venues want to lock someone in for a certain period of time or have exclusivity when it comes to live shows. But when it comes to Kylie, Michael knows he’s onto something golden and he’s put the offer on the table for Kylie to think about.”
Kylie is also hoping to land an arena tour for her new album, so she has a lot to consider before accepting the offer.
The source added, “Kylie loves Vegas, but her schedule is packed in the coming months. Kylie also wants to do a full arena tour at some point, so being cooped up in Vegas wouldn’t be an option. Michael knows this and has put the offer of a lifetime residency on the table for her to consider.”
