Kylie Kelce refused to wear Chiefs gear at the Super Bowl due to her love for the Eagles, Jason reveals… as he opens up on his own decision to wear Kansas City overalls

Jason Kelce had no luck convincing wife Kylie to wear Kansas City Chiefs gear to Sunday’s Super Bowl, with the Eagles refusing WAG out of her love for Philadelphia.

Kylie was in Las Vegas with Jason last week to watch his brother Travis and the Chiefs take on the San Francisco 49ers in the NFL’s end-of-season showpiece.

It proved to be a historic night for both the Kelces and Kansas City, who prevailed in the final three seconds of overtime to become the first back-to-back Super Bowl champions in nearly two decades.

Jason was seen cheering on his brother in the stands as he donned Chiefs-themed overalls and a red and yellow jersey with Travis’ nickname, “Big Yeti,” written across the front.

Kylie, on the other hand, opted for a red jersey from the University of Cincinnati, the university that both her husband and Travis attended.

Although she followed the color theme, Jason revealed in the final episode of his and Travis’ New Heights podcast that his wife refused to wear Chiefs gear out of love for his team of the past 13 years.

“Kylie got some love from Philadelphia fans for her continued refusal to wear Chiefs gear even though she has personal connections,” the Eagles center said. ‘She just doesn’t want to do it.

“She’ll carry other colleges, but she won’t carry other NFL teams.”

Travis replied, “I appreciate it, Ky. I appreciate you even wearing red. You could have worn something neutral and showed your support. You showing up was enough for me.”

Jason then began his attempts to change Kylie’s mind before Sunday’s match, which ultimately proved unsuccessful.

He continued, “I tried and told Kylie, ‘We have family in the game. It’s okay to cheer on that team, they’re not playing the Eagles. You do realize this isn’t against the Eagles, right?’

‘But she just refuses. Anything that could go against Jason.”

Kylie hilariously revealed how her superstitions kept her from watching the Super Bowl from the stands as she cheered brother-in-law Travis to victory.

Kelce and Jason took their seats in a $1 million VIP suite paid for by Travis – alongside Taylor Swift – to cheer on the Chiefs in a gripping Super Bowl that almost became too much for her.

Jason, meanwhile, was seen hilariously dancing in his overalls and a wrestling mask in Vegas

She wrote on Instagram: ‘At some point on Sunday my superstition kicked in hard.

‘I refused to watch the match, not even on television. Here, Sarah King is the real MVP. I just watched her reactions and that kept me informed.”

Jason certainly made the most of Super Bowl week in Vegas, attending a number of concerts and hitting the casino with Kylie – where Ny Breaking.com captured them enjoying a big win the night before the game.

And after the Chiefs’ victory over the 49ers, footage emerged of the 36-year-old hilariously dancing in his Kansas City overalls and a wrestling mask at their victory party.

“I had to get out the Chiefs overalls for this,” he said of his own outfit choice.

“I was trying to figure out what to wear, and I thought if I went with the Chiefs overalls and I had straps that could hold my shirt in place, the straps would hold my shirt in place so I could couldn’t pull it off when I felt the desire to be more controlled.’

Travis then joked, “It would have been better than seeing your nipples on the field, man, f**k.”
