After a tough time during Caramel Week, the farmer fell at the final hurdle after his caramel cake was deemed closer to a tiramisu by the judges.
Inspired by his friend’s favorite movie theater and the baker’s favorite cocktail, Mike created a salted coffee caramel-inspired creation where several coffee-flavored cake layers were smeared with caramel mousse.
The stunning creation was topped with caramel popcorn shards, but unfortunately Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith felt the whole concoction missed the mark.
When the Bakers spoke to the camera after hearing the news of his deportation, they said it was time to go.
Following the most recent GBBO episode during Autumn Week, viewers shared their fears after a show favorite was sent home after failing to impress.

Nelly, who has proven popular in series 15 of the show, ended up in the bottom two after struggling with her seasonal pastries in Tuesday’s episode.
Palliative care assistant Nelly, 44, has become the sixth contestant to leave the Channel 4 show, in the same week Sumayah was named Star Baker.
For their first task, participants faced three seasonal challenges, including a sweet, fall-inspired cake signature.
They were then faced with a vegan technical problem and were asked to make parkin and then create cakes celebrating seasonal vegetables for their showstopper.
After her departure was announced, Nelly said: ‘It’s not sympathy, it’s positive, I’m so ready to leave. I never thought I would make it to round six! I know my children are so proud.

Nelly, who has proven popular in series 15 of the show, ended up in the bottom two after struggling with her seasonal pastries in Tuesday’s episode.
‘It’s not to teach them to win, but to teach them to enjoy. Don’t cry! Everyone is crying…. Of course I am happy – in each of your hearts there is a piece of Nelly and you will never forget me. Cake – we can bake!’
She continued, “I was ready to leave and felt it was my time to go.”
Nelly, who formed a close bond with presenter Noel Fielding during the show, added: ‘Noel had the role of sending me home and he found that so difficult.
‘I looked at him and tried to support him with my eyes to tell him it was okay.
‘But he couldn’t look at me, he was really upset. The production team was crying and it really touched my heart.”
