Kylie Jenner’s new perfume Cosmic is SAVAGED by top fragrance influencer on TikTok who calls the scent ‘boring and generic’ – and even compares the glass bottle to a POTATO

Kylie Jenner is about to expand her beauty empire with her own signature perfume called Cosmic.

But despite only hitting shelves on March 7, it’s already been trashed by one of TikTok’s most popular fragrance influencers, Emelia O’Toole – known as ‘Professor Perfume‘ on social media.

When she unwrapped the scent for her 383,000 followers, Emelia first noticed that the glass bottle had already leaked the stinky scent everywhere.

“See how that got everywhere?” she said to the camera, before grabbing a tissue to wipe the bottle.

She then said she wasn’t a “big fan” of the bottle’s design, comparing it to a “potato.”

“Yes, I don’t like,” she added, before praising the “affordable” price.

Emelia was far from impressed with the actual aroma, which consists of notes such as jasmine, amber, vanilla and peony.

“If you’re like me and saying, ‘oh, another jasmine-vanilla (perfume)’… yes, that’s exactly what this is,” she said.

‘You’ve smelled this before, you’ll smell it again. This fragrance profile is nothing new, it is nothing groundbreaking.”

She continued, “To me, this is kind of flat, kind of boring. It is not bad. There’s nothing wrong with it in any way, it’s just very common.

“I think when you’re a billionaire and your brand is worth billions of dollars, you have so much potential to create something really fun and innovative.”

“It looks so cheap!” Emelia’s followers flooded her comments section with negative feedback

Emelia wasn’t the only fragrance influencer to review Kylie’s perfume, beauty guru Caroline Stern called it “really beautiful.”

“I really like it… it’s objectively not the most unique scent I’ve ever smelled in my life,” she said.

“I think this would be great for a younger girl, like in middle school, because it’s not overwhelming.”

TikTok creator Zahava Ben-Haim, aka Makeup2themaxx, was much more positive in her review of the celebrity scent.

“Oh my god, this is so beautiful,” she said after inhaling a few sprays of the scent.

‘It’s super floral and very fragrant. This is definitely going to be a beast smell, like it will last all day,” she continued.

“This is definitely so girly. If you like to smell like sunshine and a flowerbed, this will be your new favorite scent.’

Despite her enthusiasm, many responses to Zahava’s review were negative.

‘I just don’t believe anyone. They all seem so compelled to like it,” one suspicious user wrote.

“How do you know it will last all day without testing it all day…?” asked another.

One even accused the post of being a “paid review,” which Zahava denied.

“Bestie, it’s not like I’d write if it was an ad – I always say it,” she replied.

DailyMail.com has contacted Kylie’s management for comment.

It comes after Kylie gave a glimpse into how she created her Cosmic perfume – the reality star’s first fragrance under her own brand Kylie Cosmetics.

The 23-year-old took to Instagram to reveal a collection of behind-the-scenes snapshots detailing the product’s evolution, with glimpses at bottle options, the manufacturing process and more.

In a captivating snapshot, the brunette stunner wore a sheer black mini dress paired with thigh-high leggings, posing in front of a vision board dedicated to the upcoming product set to hit shelves on March 7.

“YEARS of love went into this scent and many rounds to create the perfect signature scent,” she captioned the carousel. “Cosmic is truly out of this world and I can’t wait to share it with you all.”

Her sister Kim Kardashian used to have a fragrance line with KKW perfumes, but she discontinued the brand.

This comes after Kylie launched her own fast fashion label called Khy a few months ago.
