Kylie Jenner appeared virtually in court on Friday to have her one-year-old son’s name legally changed to Aire.
The 26-year-old lip kit mogul and her ex Travis Scott initially named their baby Wolf, but Kylie announced shortly after that they decided against the name because they “REALLY REALLY DIDNT FEEL LIKE IT WAS HIM.”
She publicly announced in January that they had chosen Aire, and in March she filed legal paperwork to make the decision official.
A report was published at the end of June this year E! News claiming that the name change from Wolf to Aire was legally certified.
However, new court documents have been obtained by TMZ indicate that the switch only became legally effective when a judge approved it this week.
DailyMail.com has contacted representatives of the Kardashian-Jenner family for comment.

According to the documents, Travis didn’t even appear in court virtually this Friday, but because he also didn’t object to Kylie’s petition, it was granted.
When the baby was born in February 2022, his first name was Wolf Jacques Webster — a nod to Travis, whose legal name is Jacques Webster.
However, not long after, Kylie shocked her fans by revealing on social media: “FYI our son’s name is not wolf anymore.”
She explained, “WE just really didn’t feel like it was him. JUST WANTED TO SHARE BECAUSE I KEEP SEEING WOLF EVERYWHERE.’
Their decision prompted Eddie Van Halen and Valerie Bertinelli’s son Wolfgang, who goes by Wolf, to cheekily tweet: “THANK YOU F***.”
On a recent episode of The Kardashians, Kylie told her friend Stassie Karanikolaou about the reason behind the decision to name her son Aire.
‘I always wanted a name for him that had meaning. It’s a Hebrew name and it means ‘Lion of God,'” Kylie explained.
Travis and Kylie are also the proud parents of a five-year-old daughter, who they named Stormi in the wake of the Stormy Daniels scandal.

The couple had an on-off romance from 2017 until this year, and although they are currently off, they have maintained an amicable co-parenting equation.
Kylie is now in the throes of a headline-making relationship with Timothee Chalamet, whose dating history includes Eiza Gonzalez and Lily-Rose Depp.
After weeks of rumors, Kylie and Timothee made their romance public by kissing in the stands at a Beyonce concert towards the end of the summer.
Start this month a People insider noted that the pair enjoyed what Kylie considers a “fun and straightforward” conversation.
‘They’ve been seeing each other for six months now. He makes Kylie happy. He has his own life and understands that Kylie needs to prioritize her children,” the source said.
He is charming, very loving and protective of Kylie,” the insider claimed, adding that the reality TV superstar “likes that he is a private man.”
