Kylian Mbappe's Real Madrid transfer saga has taken a new twist after his mother Fayza Lamari became his agent again.
She is expected to play a central role in determining the French star's future as he enters the final six months of his contract with Paris Saint-Germain.
Mbappe, 25, is expected to sign for Real in the summer after turning them down in 2022 to extend his PSG contract.
Negotiations with Real can officially start from January 1.
In October, Spanish newspaper Marca reported that Lamari was no longer representing her son due to the new FIFA rules for agents.

World football's governing body wanted to introduce a licensing system for player agents, which would cap the commission they earn on transfer fees and salaries.
Marca said Lamari was no longer on FIFA's agent list, meaning she could play no role in negotiations over his move.
However, as reported by Spanish outlet RelevoLamari will now be able to represent Mbappe after FIFA frozen the licensing requirement.
Those officers who failed the tough exams have been granted a temporary reprieve, although further exam sessions are scheduled for May and November 2024.
A statement from FIFA said: 'We recommend that all member associations temporarily suspend the equivalent of their national football agency regulations, unless this would conflict with the mandatory rules of the law applicable in their territory.
“FIFA remains confident that they provide a necessary, proportionate and comprehensive legal regulatory framework to address systemic deficiencies within the international transfer system.”
The Athletic reported this week that Mbappe must decide his next move by mid-January after Real Madrid imposed a deadline.

The same report states that some at PSG believe Real will be unable to meet the striker's wage demands.
If he were to move to the Bernabéu, Mbappe would expect to be paid double what the club's current stars earn, which could lead to disharmony in the dressing room.
Mbappe has scored 233 goals in 288 appearances for PSG since initially joining on loan from Monaco in 2017.
