After scoring a penalty in the 21st minute, MbappĂ© celebrated his goal by holding up a shirt with Rico’s name and the number 16.
Rico is in a stable condition, but remains in intensive care after suffering a serious head injury in a horseback riding accident.
The 29-year-old man was on a horseback pilgrimage to Huelva in Spain when he was knocked off the animal.

Rico was transferred to the Virgen del Rocio University Hospital in Seville.
Mundo Deportivo reported that Rico remains in intensive care for four days after admission and is in a “situation of clinical stability within the severity of his injuries.”
Rico is sedated and is constantly monitored by doctors and specialists.
Before the game against Clermont Foot, the PSG players warmed up in a special shirt with an image of Rico on it.
PSG also wore their new home kit, with each player with Rico’s name on the back.
In addition, PSG canceled their Ligue 1 trophy celebrations out of respect for Rico.

Rico started his career with Sevilla, with whom he won the Europa League twice, and was on loan at Fulham in the 2018/19 season. He was loaned to PSG for the following campaign before making the move permanently.
He played a total of 24 times for PSG and was also loaned to Mallorca.
Rico has one international match for Spain, which played against South Korea in 2016.
